No effect in Ireland so far, aussie had the best reaction to especially for you.

Nil impact in the UK too - as I expected to be honest, the re-issue of the physicals is a nice to have rather than it having any chart impact.

While I totally understand the frenzy of downloading a new Kylie single to try and help it achieve a better chart position, I don't see what the point is for Especially for You. The Neighbours finale was last week and despite that exposure it just didn't translate to people downloading it. It has a #1 peak and it sold over a million. What is the motivation? I don't think many Kylie fans are going to be bothered to do that.

 

The 7" and cassette cost £24(!) with postage, so I think that's quite enough.

Well I only meant if enough physicals had been sold to give it a top 100 Monday slot.

Agree, don’t think we’ll see anyone downloading this in mass - there is no excitement or purpose in a #1 million selling single re-enter #99 for 1 week :lol:

Before it came I was curious about whether the back cover design would be faithful to the original and use the same picture, and it does. They’ve only changed it so that it also says Especially for You on the back cover instead of the B Side title.

Always forget about SBIT - hopefully any pick up in streams do get added to that, it’s a shame SBIT didn’t have more longevity however it served its purpose in celebrating Glastonbury and returning Kylie back to the top spot.

Was just having a look on social media - there are 100s of posts from people that received their orders today, will be interesting to know (hopefully) how many physicals they managed to shift.
