Or 2018 with 'Say Something' if you're being strict about him as a lead artist. Pharrell in any capacity was last playlisted also in 2018 with Los Unidades on 'E-Lo' if anyone even remembers that. Los Unidades better known as Coldplay of course! (I remember the song well but I always forget Pharrell featured on it)

July 19, 20224 yr Amazed and pleased to see them supporting Conan Gray! Better late than never, but it is a shame that they didn't pick up any of the singles that were released in advance of Superache (the album). In fact according to Radio 1's last.fm, they only gave 1 play each to Astronomy, People Watching, Jigsaw, Memories and Yours. They were slightly more supportive of Overdrive (5 plays) and Telepath (6 plays) but both of those songs didn't actually end up making the album's track list. :drama: I'm also surprised that Sigala has only just been playlisted!

July 27, 20224 yr Do you reckon Two Door Cinema Club have been Vaccinated/Everything Everythinged/Kings of Leoned/Arcade Fired/Strokesed/Mused? Most indie bands don't last more than ten years on the R1 Playlist and the song sounds like it could be a better fit for Radio 2, who played them a bit last time round. I bet Cracker Island would get on if it was by a younger/newer act. Still, at least they play it after 6pm. R1's loss is R2's gain! On second thoughts, perhaps not! Their new single tomorrow is being premiered on Clara’s show.
