August 1, 20222 yr I wouldn't be too surprised that a few independent labels are interested, but the biggest issue (besides funding) is that a lot of them work from release-to-release, which means getting an album out without a hit is unlikely, but also that the biggest labels in the UK that would realistically be interested are... dance labels (think 3Beat, AATW). They don't really have good labels for mainstream R&B-infused pop releases.

August 3, 20222 yr She has destroyed any chance of solo success and done it so quickly. The best thing she could do at the moment is to compile all the tracks she's recorded into an album and find a label that's willing to release it after one single. Put out a single and pre-orders for various formats of the album and then release it with a limited budget. It wouldn't be successful, but at least she'd get the music out that she's recorded and be able to move on to whatever she's going to do next (if it's more music or not). Unfortunately, I could see her thinking that she's still going to be successful, push ahead with a label that promises single success and she'll end up trying to chase a hit that never comes and the entire thing is just shelved indefinitively.
