It's incredible that Mel is coming up to her 9th studio album, she has a serious catalogue of music.

To be fair, most of her music was meandering for so long, I dont count most of her albums as real music, just try outs :P

Just kidding, I dont care. Good for her I guess :teresa: Who is Rose Gray?

She's a singer! Dance genre, a flavour of 90s dance. Should be a good fit with Mel!
I LOVE Rose Grays latest single so I have high hopes for this !
Rose Gray, of BJSC winner fame! :o Rose Gray's sound is like what the Spices would have sounded like in 2020 on!! Good choice.

does it?.... I just listened to some of her music online and frankly I dont see it. Good for Melanie though x

There was me thinking "didn't she already collaborate with Rose Grey on the last album?" before realising that was actually Nadia Rose

I can't keep up, honestly!

Melanie is a music vampire. She likes to be inspired by Gen Z artists and collab with them.

As far as we know, there are many women involved in this record. Don’t remember the name of the others, one is a DJ and the other an electo-indie songwriter.

That could be a good / interesting fit for her actually - especially if they manage to marry that electronica / dance sound with rockier / frantic sensibilites.
The success of the Claire Richards album makes me wonder if Melanie could pull off a Top 5 or Top 3 herself

She definitely can if she plays her cards right. However, she tends to pick super competitive release weeks in Q4.
