  • He's been on par with Chelsea's Robert Sanchez this season who is also shockingly mistake-prone for a 'top' team. At least they've had the foresight to kick him out of the team (even though the backup

You’re quick to write him off!

He’s 25 living off one good season for Ajax 5 years ago I think that’s enough time to say maybe this guy isn’t what people hoped he would be

He’s got potential though I’d say. Is crazy when you look at that Ajax side though and none of the key players really took off and became one of, if not the best in the world in their positions. Gravenberch was also disappointing last season, but he looks more comfortable so far.

He barely got a chance under Klopp though, looks a great player if he can stay injury free!

That’s the key point even ten Haag has turned out very iffy. They might just have had one of those fluke type great seasons and everyone overrated the players and manager because of it. Van de beek was so useless and de jong has not really delivered at Barcelona, de ligt just strikes me as a Dutch harry maguire at best. Gravenberch looked great against Man Utd but then a lot of players do these days

New low for Ten Haag tonight a 1-1 draw at home to FC Twente the team he was with before Ajax. Thankfully I didn’t watch but sounds like Man Utd got outplayed too
I’m just hoping he doesn’t try and buy some of their players
Don’t worry yous can still spend another 200m next summer when yous f*** up!

You can’t win every game, these results happen. Is it even that bad a result? Teams should be losing games and dropping points at times, it’s only this Guardioa robot revolution.

Still think the biggest problem at Man Utd is the club structure. Even though there’s a “proper football” structure in place now, the signings made in the summer look like a club who don’t really know what they want to achieve. Ten Haag is still a problem but who do they get when he goes? Part of the problem at the club is dealing with the pressure/expectation. It’s a bit like the England job really where I think you’re doomed to fail most of the time.

Well here are Man Utd’s last 9 European games under Ten Hag

🤝 3-3 vs Sevilla

0-3 vs Sevilla

3-4 vs Bayern Munich

2-3 vs Galatasaray

1-0 vs Copenhagen

3-4 vs Copenhagen

🤝 3-3 vs Galatasaray

0-1 vs Bayern Munich

🤝 1-1 vs Twente

It’s not just one game. True many managers have now been tried but this guy is clearly the most wasteful of the lot, spent £650million and no injuries yesterday at all and were as bad as ever so no excuses left anymore. The new manager will have a big job to do as he has signed so many duds from Mount to Onana on big wages and long contracts

Mount was a completely moronic signing (even worse than Sancho) but Onana looks to have turned a corner at least. Our defence is looking a bit better (watch that come back to bite this weekend) but he can't get a tune out of attack. Bruno is a complete passenger this season, not convinced Rashy is 'back' at all, Zirkzee isn't even championship level. Relying too much on Garnacho and Hojlund (who can never stay fit anyway).

I think they only sack him if we go on a completely catastrophic run of form between now and Xmas.

It goes way beyond the manager though. Not sure changing the manager will do much at this stage and who is available? You'd be likely taking a risk on someone and imo the time for making a riskier switch is in the summer when they have more time to work on their style of play.

Certain managers were moving Man Utd in the right direction or weren’t good enough but still were improving the club in some way. Ten Hag has moved Man Utd backwards. Fixing the mess he left will take awhile so for me no one manager is the solution possibly true yes but you need one who is part of the solution rather than adding extra problems. Ten Hag created issues with Sancho, Ronaldo and Garnacho is continually caught liking social media posts critiquing him. None of these things have helped Man Utd. He’s spent £650 million and very few players he’s signed are even worth keeping. Martinez sure after that I don’t know. So he has to go really rather than wait for him to get a decent few results then implode again.

I would love to see Man Utd get a proven coach and just clear house. I have never seen a club be so wasteful. Chelsea come close but a lot of the players they’ve signed are actually great players.

And dobbo I agree on Bruno he occupies a very important position and he is just not world class like de bruyne was or others out there. Would have liked to have seen him sold to Saudi instead he’s captain on a new big long contract. It’s just insanity to do the same thing and expect a different outcome. Bruno has never won a league in his career too. TBH Hojiund looks average most of the time too. I’d almost accept having three throwaway seasons to fix the training ground, facilities, new stadium etc and clear out deadwood overpriced rubbish then come back with youth and big money safer signings and a proven coach I wish they did that 5+ years ago instead of thinking one big signing would be the saviour every summer and that signing being the likes of Pogba or Bruno or Antony who all ended up being underwhelming anyway and more so in a club with a bad structure and bad coach. Obviously the size of Man Utd the club will go back to the top but it’s been forever now and the club seems to be stuck. Man City can get relegated two divisions for these charges and still be ahead of Man Utd in 4 years with the way things are. That is a big problem.

United fans are just spoilt though, it’s been a decade like. I always say if it wasn’t for Fergie United wouldn’t be any different to the likes of Sunderland of Villa league titles wise!
Anyone watching this game? Could be 0-10 to Tottenham. De Ligt is hopeless.

Sadly yes. We can now add De Ligt and Ugarte to the list of once promising talents who have thrown their career down the toilet.

It was a terrible display from start to finish for us. I'm sure Tottenham will get overly excited after this win but they will just be their usual inconsistent selves, I wouldn't be surprised if they lose next week to Brighton.

Yep teams will soon realise beating us is no great achievement anymore. Even Twente midweek, didn't even win but their reaction was as if they'd just won the treble.

Mind you, just imagine what the score could have been had Son been playing instead of Werner.
