    Shocking news

  • He certainly does deserve a lot of credit but to see him lift the trophy in a parade would be very John Terry Champions League final 2012 🤣

Yeh they were massivrly up for it and thoroughly deserved to win. If anyone other than Liverpool I’m glad a team like Newcastle won it as it’s been so long!

Liverpool remain in talks with Brighton over a potential deal for Moises Caicedo should a move to Chelsea not materialise.
111M? thought Klopp said Liverpool couldn't spend with the likes of City and Chelsea. It's like giving a 5 year-old a Ferrari!

To be fair, since covid, we've barely spent a penny. Think we're in the bottom 6-8 for lowest net spend. £111m is a lot of money, but we are in dire need of a defensive midfielder and the market is crazy inflated. Not convinced it will go through anyway, there's a lot of gamesmanship between Liverpool & Chelsea atm on the deal. Caicedo and his team want Chelsea (as they are offering more money) but Chelsea can;t afford the fee, unless some clever accounting happens..

Liverpool have signed midfielder Wataru Endo from Stuttgart for a fee of around 19m euros (£16.2m), subject to a work permit and international clearance.

The 30-year-old Japan international has agreed a four-year contract.

Jaysus must have been our 6th choice, let’s hope he brings some experience - I see he plays nearly every game and has good stamina so maybe a decent signing!

From Klopp's comments, he's more of a Milner/Henderson replacement I think. Not a sexy signing and I've never seen him play, but we're crying out for a defensive midfielder who has some legs and can put a tackle in. He will get a lot of game time I suspect, but realistically we're still at least a midfielder short.

Liverpool will appeal against Alexis Mac Allister's red card in the 3-1 Premier League win over Bournemouth.

The Argentina midfielder, 24, faces a three-game suspension after he clipped Ryan Christie's foot in the 58th minute at Anfield on Saturday.

Big Darwin to the rescue today!

Thought it was more a case of Newcastle just being completely toothless after we re-grouped after the sending off. I do really think we're two signings away from having a really good season, but seems like we won't sign anyone until January at this rate. Either way, lots to be positive about, but we've clearly a lot to work on too. Mind you, I don't think any team had looked particularly consistent so far.

Spurs/Liverpool game in a few weeks time will be tasty. Might be indication of who will challenge City this year.

I’m not sure Liverpool will be able to keep pace with City, but I definitely know Spurs won’t! They’re impressive with the football they’re playing, but I’d say their max ceiling is 80-85 points.
