Spurs have no chance at all, I remember when they were top of the table a few years ago in November then proceeded to finish outside the top 4. The bubble will soon burst.

    Shocking news

  • He certainly does deserve a lot of credit but to see him lift the trophy in a parade would be very John Terry Champions League final 2012 🤣

Yeh they were massivrly up for it and thoroughly deserved to win. If anyone other than Liverpool I’m glad a team like Newcastle won it as it’s been so long!

If Spurs hit 80-85 points they’ll have one of their best seasons ever!

West Ham boss David Moyes has now lost 24 Premier League games against Liverpool, a joint record for a manager against one team, level with Harry Redknapp against Manchester United.
People can call be biased all the like, but that was genuinely one of the worst referring performances I've ever seen in my life. Spurs will get plaudits, but I thought they were fairly average, even before the first sending off for Liverpool. Allegedly the Diaz offside wasn't even checked, can't make this shit up. I don't know how we as fans put up with his rubbish week in week out, it's incompetence from the people using the technology.

Yeh was clearly onside and they didn’t get to the right decision unfort!

Jones one was a red and the Jota first yellow was a mistake!

It was the worst referring performance I have ever witnessed from everyone involved. The VAR team were in the UAE on Thursday, I've always been of the opinion it's incompetence, rather than corruption but if it can happen in other leagues, it can happen in the Premier League.

Other than the offside which was obviously wrong I think they got all the other calls right. There's been far worse performances imo but of course when it's a factual error there's more of an aggrieved reaction.

Which ones were right? Udogie waved a magical yellow card and didn't get booked. The Jones challenge was deemed a "clear and obvious error by VAR" yet I haven't seen any argument that it was. I can freeze any tackle and make it look worse than it actually was. Bissouma had one on Gakpo, where he actually injured him & if you freeze the right frame it looks awful.

There was one point the ref played the advantage to Liverpool when we had 9 men and nobody ahead of the ball. It's shocking. So many of the subjective calls don't go our way and often go in the favour of other teams since the Tierney incident.

The VAR audio is even worse than I thought. No way Darren England is ever part of our games again, suspect he'll get away with getting sacked over the bullshit of the "laws of the game".

Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson is to have an operation on the shoulder he injured while playing for Scotland, says Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.

He was hurt in a challenge with Spain keeper Unai Simon during 12 October's Euro 2024 qualifying defeat and left the pitch cradling his arm in a shirt.

"The decision we go towards is surgery," said Klopp, whose side face Everton on Saturday (12:30 BST).

Colombian-born Liverpool footballer Luis Díaz's father has been released by the left-wing guerrillas who kidnapped him 13 days ago, police sources and local media say.

Luis Manuel Díaz was handed over to United Nations and Catholic church officials by members of the National Liberation Army (ELN).

He was abducted on 28 October in the family's hometown, Barrancas.

The footballer's mother was also seized, but was freed within hours.

Local media said Mr Díaz had travelled by military helicopter to the city of Valledupar, where he would undergo a medical examination before being returned to his family.

Fantastic news but - can anymore clued up on this situation explain exactly what was the point of doing it? I didn't read anything about a ransom so did they just do it to gain more exposure in the media?

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister's injury "doesn't look good", said Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.

The Argentina international, 24, suffered a cut knee early on in the 2-0 win at Sheffield United on Wednesday.

He carried on playing but was substituted after 57 minutes and later had his wound stitched up.

"Macca doesn't look good, so we have to see day by day," said Klopp ahead of Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace (12:30 GMT).

Bore draw today!

Bore draw today!

Our attack and midfield hasn't been functioning as a unit for a while. Think we had good chances today, but they were all from set pieces.

But yes, that was an all out stinker of a game.

I'd prefer a boring 0-0 draw to what happened last time any day! It was a good defensive display from us, we didn't do much going forward tbh but overall it's a good result for United.

Well quite 😅 it was always going to go one way or the other!
