Happy 20th AWDF!

I didn't listen to this album until early 2006, so I was a little late to the party.

Fair to say I was pretty impressed with it when I did hear it for the first time.

Agree with you Silas, a vinyl would've been nice. (Not that I'd have purchased it).

What would've been just as good would've been a digital deluxe version with bonus material.

They look super young there! Freak Like Me was a MASSIVE SWERVE and huge shift up. The fives singles might be five of their best and all from the same album.

Album has aged poorly IMO.

Only the singles are fantastic ...................and breathe easy. The rest is skippable most of the times.

Yeah, for better or worse they really did focus on trying to break through properly with the album and it shows as it hasn't aged well. I still like it, but it's not exactly an album where you sit and think that they missed a lot of opportunities for it or that you really want to hear them even perform the non-single album tracks. I've always found Virgin Sexy particularly hideous.

2.0's opus is of course Three, which is funny because I remember that pop forums at the time weren't kind towards it.

Agree on Virgin Sexy, I find it pretty bad.

Also agree whilst I like the album it hasn’t aged that well either.

I Love Virgin Sexy 👀

On the whole I find the album to have aged well but maybe that’s influenced by how often I still listen to it and that I’ve been listening to it for 20 years

I don’t think the album has aged badly at all!? Taller will always be their best for me but I felt like 3:0 just got better with each album release.
