I thought the deluxe was clean as the photo on eBay didn’t have an explicit lyrics sticker until it arrived and the sticker warning was on it. Problem is you can still tell the bits where the swearing is muted out.

Goodness me, they're only words. They can't hurt you...

I wonder if she's actually going to give a second song a proper release with a video

The #1 album in Australia for 2022. The official year end ARIA Charts are out.

In just a couple of months

You're On Your Own Kid at #69

Looking forward to this getting its moment

Relistened to this tonight and a few updated thoughts, mostly positive...

'Maroon' has already grown on me a lot, the chorus is actually really pretty. I had heard a clip of this one before hearing the album and I was expecting it to be one of my favourites based on that but found it underwhelming, second time's the charm! (Though still a few other tracks I like more - 'Labyrinth', 'Bigger Than The Whole Sky', 'Midnight Rain', 'You're On Your Own, Kid' and 'Snow On The Beach' are my top 5 right now I think but 'Maroon' maybe jumping all the way to 6th now).

A more unexpected big grower was 'Vigilante Shit' - one of my least favourites on first listen but this time I was really vibing with it somehow? :') Maybe I'll hate it again next time I hear it but idk something just clicked with it, it's kind of lazy and cringe but I'm a fan now I guess. With that I'm up to 12/20 songs from the album that I've added to my 2022 playlist.

I'm not sure why I hated 'Paris' so much on first listen, it's not really that bad. Still kinda mid and one of the weaker tracks but 'Karma' is now the only song I actively dislike.

'Glitch', 'Question...?' and 'Sweet Nothing' all grew on me a little bit too although none of them are major highlights still.

Unfortunately the one song that I liked less on second listen (bar maybe hating 'Karma' even more than I did already) was 'Bejeweled' - I think the chorus is just cramming way too many syllables in and giving up on rhyming halfway through which sounds really clunky. I did enjoy the music video though which I was also watching for the first time, love the HAIM appearance. Can they do another proper song together where they're not relegated to backing vocals pls

So I listened to the first of this on my walk today. Played up to and finished Labyrinth. It’s pretty good so far. Anti-Hero would have to be my favourite. Not sure on a least yet, it’s fairly consistent. I’ll hopefully get the second half done tomorrow.

I actually went through and finished this off today.

The 3am tracks were a little disappointing in comparison but the standard 13 track version was very strong. Anti-Hero ended up being my favourite.

Is she ever planning a physical release of the 3am edition I wonder?

I gave up waiting and downloaded the seven bonus tracks on iTunes as I always like to have an 'owned' copy of my favourite albums, physical or downloaded.

Bejeweled new at 63 <3

More importantly, You're On Your Own Kid is now a top 100 hit at 65 :cheeseblock: Deserved top 40 minimum but I'll take that <3 Just Karma to go and that's the top 4 of the album all charting *.*

'Lavender Haze' added to Radio 1's playlist today so confirmed as the second single.

This is kind of a weird choice to me.

Is she ever planning a physical release of the 3am edition I wonder?

Probably not, but of course, I don't know for sure.

Surely she will eventually, she's not the type to turn up an opportunity to get her diehard fans to buy the album again... :kink:

Til Dawn Edition of "Midnights" out this Friday. It features "Hits Different", "Snow On The Beach" with more Lana Del Rey vocals, and the Ice Spice remix of "Karma".
