According to initial reports to Luminate, the album, which was released on Oct. 21, has earned more than 1.2 million equivalent album units in the U.S. through its first three days of release (through Oct. 23). Of that sum, traditional album sales comprise more than 955,000 across all available formats (multiple digital album download, CD, vinyl and cassette variants). Vinyl LP sales for the title is nearing 500,000.

I like TM for what it is, but it’s definitely the weakest. What a crop of lead singles, I’m an unashamed Shake It Off stan it’s one of my top happy bops, just a fun joyful pop song even if it’s far from the best example of her songwriting or abilities in any form :lol:

Also I think You’re On Your Own, Kid might be my fave now, that bridge is a career highlight. I saw a TikTok saying each line or couple of lines was one of her old eras and I was so shook, it makes sense!

I really hope all these variants mean she can debut in the US with 1m again and be the first since Reputation. Folklore was only 150k away with no pre orders.. if she released a strong lead single I think she definitely would have managed it but if she does it now it may be too late..
