Really hope Guetta and Bebe can get the number 1 and really keep a good lead on spotify.

 

But it hasn't got a lead on Spotify; B.O.T.A. is in front combined.

Guess they can ask for a reset for Sweater Weather! If they reset RUTH and Another Love, anything can be reset

 

Insane how many old songs we have in the top 200, some interesting ones

Lana del Rey-Summertime Sadness is at #76 with Born to Die top 200 today too

and Pixies-Where is My Mind is top 200, guess for the first time?

Arctic Monkeys have tons of songs in the t200, including I Wanna be Yours at #39 which has never charted, guess cos of Tiktok as usual

There is a remix of I Wanna Be Yours and Summetime Sadness together i’ve seen on TikTok which might explain those.

 

I’m just hoping all the AM attention boads well for the new album release but given how Mirrorball did i’m guessing it will be first week only if there’s significant attention there which returns to the issue of being up against Taylor who will doubtless album bomb as well.

Finally! And at a decent placing (it's #27).

 

Why would music video boost a basic dance song that much... do they usually? I haven't really followed them.

 

They were only 3,821 sales behind last week and this week the gap will be closer if David Guetta isn't #1. A music video can easily give the song an extra 1,000 or so chart sales (through extra streaming + slight sales boost on iTunes etc).

the problem is that many generic dance songs get super generic dance videos of very little effect

but for what Ive read the Bebe/Guetta video is going to be quite raunchy :o

Especially factoring in the 2nd version of I'm Good - although its not in the Spotify top 200, it is probably doing enough to bridge the gap. So maybe I'm Good can topple BOTA this week.

This week seems a bit of a tall order with a 2k gap officially.

If Lewis had physicals this week he would have easily managed #1. Im guessing he will still get there as it’s held up pretty well.
Ideally I'd like Lewis to get the #1 this week and then Guetta/Bebe next week, staying there for several weeks.
Lewis is #20 in the prime chart (compared to #3 for Guetta/Bebe and #10 for Eliza), up from #25ish earlier so making upward progress but lagging a little there. Could make the difference when things seem this close.
