This choice is incredibly easy for me as (even though I v enjoy it), it's one of her most overrated singles going... Telephone gets my very clear vote x
My first thought was Speechless too - I actually do like it but I feel it gets hyped as one of Gaga's best ballads when she has a fair few better ones.
Don't hate me but... 'Dance In The Dark', just because it is the fan favourite album track of the era but I prefer others on the album, even if I do really like DITD too

Telephone being one of her number ones over most of her other singles that missed out irks me a bit. I get the video was a phenomenon (my favourite music video ever?) But the song falls short. It's my partner's favourite Gaga song and while I enjoy... I can't put it anywhere top half of her singles!
It has to be Telephone... but it having such an iconic video makes it harder. DITD is a good call too as it doesn't have the streams to back the position as a fan favourite. If it's a fan favourite, how it's the LEAST streamed song on TFM?

I've been digging around and found out why DITD is the least streamed song on TFM

The three least streamed songs on the album:

Teeth (43.8M)

Playlist reach: 1.9kk

Number of playlists: 2852

Streams on Tuesday: 18k

So Happy I Could Die (41.7M)

Playlist reach: 1.7kk

Number of playlists: 2357

Streams on Tuesday: 19k

DITD (39.7M)

Playlist reach: 320k

Number of playlists: 910

Streams on Tuesday: 18k

DITD has 6x less exposure than the other two tracks and still pulls the same amount of streams daily, which shows that her team/Spotify curators don't know (or don't want to) connect the audience with her music properly.

That's really interesting statistics.

I think Teeth gets additional playlists from Halloween lists and it (+ SHICD) features on her 'This is...' playlist whereas DITD doesn't.

Speechless really shines live imo. Here are some of her live performances of it:

Royal Variety + Radio 1 Big Weekend in particular for me

dance in the dark has always been overrated with gaga fans. dreadful song.

:naomi:

Telephone is still one of her best ever singles, has aged flawlessly, and I’d argue pops off with people even more than Bad Romance does these days when it’s played on nights out etc. It’s energy is relentless and I still think it’s one of the best songs from the 2010s onwards tbh.

Again, find this very difficult as all of the most popular songs are amazing. But ‘So Happy I Could Die’ is my least favourite on the album/the only one I’d potentially skip, yet it seems to do really well on here now? So I opted for that but, again, like my vote in the first poll, I don’t think it’s overrated in the grand scheme of things.

I completely agree! Had to remove the club part from your quote though because it’s been years since I last did that

I’ve voted for Speechless - I’ve never really enjoyed it but I’ve seen people consider it to be a standout.

There's no point in having four jazz songs on her biggest playlist while Dance in the Dark is left out, nobody is here for jazz on a streaming platform, even more so when DITD was released as a promo single, has cover art and was nominated for a Grammy even though it was just a promo (she should have released and performed it at the 2010 VMAs though, enough time had passed since Alejandro's release and there would be enough time for the song to shine until the release of BTW, radio would eat up whatever she put out in that period so why not release it? A wasted hit).
