There's no point in having four jazz songs on her biggest playlist while Dance in the Dark is left out, nobody is here for jazz on a streaming platform, even more so when DITD was released as a promo single, has cover art and was nominated for a Grammy even though it was just a promo (she should have released and performed it at the 2010 VMAs though, enough time had passed since Alejandro's release and there would be enough time for the song to shine until the release of BTW, radio would eat up whatever she put out in that period so why not release it? A wasted hit).

I completely agree. I quite like that the jazz songs are on there to show her diversity~ to casual listeners, but yes DITD FULLY deserves a prominent spot on there for the reasons you've stated. :(

Also agree it should've been a fully fledged single. I do still think it wasn't pushed because it is fairly similar in tone to Born This Way (and the bridges are quite similar too) so they wanted to have a larger gap to get the public hyped for that.

dance in the dark has always been overrated with gaga fans. dreadful song.

What kind of troll post is this?

I wondered the same, this person clearly has issues with Gaga.

I disagree. There was a gap of 10 months between the release of Alejandro and BTW, during that same period Katy released 3 singles, Kesha released 4 singles and Rihanna released 8 (!!!) singles, which proves that Gaga definitely should have released DITD as a single at the very least.

When you are a new and hot artist in the game you should try to get as many hits as possible, as this becomes more and more difficult to do as the years go by.

I'm gonna get hate for this but... it's 'Alejandro' for me. By quite some distance.

Whilst "good" (and it's not the worst song on this album) it's really not THAT good. I see people (and media publications/blogs etc..) placing it in their top 5 Gaga singles and it baffles me. Especially seeing what it comes above every time. It's her most overrated song in her entire discography, imo.

I think some people don't realise the difference between "least favourite" and "overrated" on this poll tbh. No WAY can 'Teeth' or 'Speechless' be considered "overrated"? Unless they're somehow getting silent love somewhere that I've not noticed. They're often regarded to as being the worst songs on this album. But meh, I guess it just depends on how people view things.

No WAY can 'Speechless' be considered "overrated"?

It definitely can xx

I always assumed, at most, the biggest fans of it didn't "love" it but thought it was nice! :o

I don't think fans loved it at the time because she kept performing it live and we wanted other songs to be done instead, but I think it has matured well as fans have grown to appreciate her ballads more post Joanne and ASIB eras. That's my take on it anyway~
