Following up their really strong EP collab with Skin On Skin earlier this year, rising Australian techno duo X CLUB. have released this solo EP called 300 TOOLS FOR SUCCESS through 99cts Records

The sound of X CLUB., the dance production duo of Ben Clarke and Jesse Morath, is not easily defined

Inspired by early 90s techno all the way through to future-facing drum'n'bass,

X CLUB. has carved out a space entirely their own thanks to their authentic and eclectic take on dance

music with serious consideration for underlying groove.

« 300 TOOLS FOR SUCCESS » Four tracks full of pure groove and heavy hitting moments best served with a warning

A limited edition cassette is available on Bandcamp: https://99ctsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/x-c...ols-for-success

Another solid EP as expected. Make Me Feel looks like the track that's being pushed on a couple of playlists. I can see it growing on me. Habitual Drum Loop no.08 is relentlessly epic, but Tubefail 128 is definitely the standout for me, whew! A stormer of a track, it sounds like a love child of Elevation (Journey Mix) and Rise Up

First single from upcoming EP out now. It features Pretty Girl. 2 Kathaldazia faves on 1 collab and it's magic as expected

X CLUB. make their triumphant return to the label with another raw and atmospheric offering that includes a feature vocal from rising Melbourne producer & songwriter, Pretty Girl.

Only If U is the first taste of the duo's forthcoming second EP and sonically steps the project in a new direction for X CLUB.’s Ben Clarke and Jesse Morath, experimenting with new sounds and working with Pretty Girl who lends her emotional dance music touch, overlaying dynamic breaks to draw the listener out of reality before snapping into focus with Trance-y synths, heavy basslines and sharp highs.

'Tubefail 128' is the only one from the last EP that was really clicking with me, the rest of it was ok, 'Makes Me Feel' was actually my least favourite of the 4 iirc oops, the vocals got a little grating after a while :kink:

That Kathaldazia collab on the new song though :shakingcheeseblock:

They played an insane hour long set for Boiler Room at the AVA Festival recently, almost entirely made up of unreleased music *.*
