Posted September 23, 20222 yr Video premieres at 8am UK time: Bop! I think her vocals are in a stronger place than they were during the 'Now' era.
September 25, 20222 yr Ooh I like that! Already better than anything from the Now era (although I did quite like swinging with my eyes closed)
September 26, 20222 yr her voice sounds odd on this.. but its the vocal processing i think. as she lip-synced the radio 2 show i saw - i couldn't tell you how she actually sounds
September 26, 20222 yr I love Shania so wanted to like this instantly. I felt a little underwhelmed at first...however this is really starting to grow on me
September 26, 20222 yr Love this. Though it’s on radio 2 playlist I’m yet to hear it B List is quite low rotation compared to Radio 1 as an example. It was played once on Saturday and Sunday and twice today.
November 4, 20222 yr I wanted tickets but don’t wanna pay so much  gonna go to a tribute in Stockport instead
November 6, 20222 yr Author Shania's 6th studio album 'Queen of Me' will be released on 3rd February 2023! Including Not Just a Girl, Waking Up Dreaming and Last Day of Summer: 9Unzdt774u4
November 7, 20222 yr Author I'm trying to figure out how that title makes sense. What do you want Queen of Me to say about you at this particular moment in your career? I want it to say, ‘I am the boss of me. You are you, I am me.’ This is all about self-empowerment, self-acknowledgement and learning how to be unapologetic and true to yourself. Queen of Me, man, that’s what it means. You are responsible for all the good and the bad that you are and whatever that means. I take that on without any fear. The thing that sparked the name for the song is, there’s so many people over the years, especially young people, who say, ‘Shania, you’re the queen!’ and some artists literally refer to me as “queen” in texts. I’m the queen of country, I’m the queen of crossover, I’m the queen of pop-country… Which are all true… That’s all very flattering, but I am the Queen of Me. Whatever I represent to others means a lot to me and I have a responsibility, so I thought that I should own that title. For a long time I felt like, ‘Do I really want to be responsible for affecting so many people? What if it’s a bad influence?’ I was worried about it. It’s a big responsibility when you have mass impact with a song. I’ve learned to embrace that and enjoy it. Queen of Me was born out of that attitude. https://www.gaytimes.co.uk/originals/exclus...um-queen-of-me/
