Australian pop-star Kylie Minogue is going to perform at Atlantis The Palm on NYE. Click the link in the bio to find out more.
New Year’s Eve is getting closer and the biggest party night to ring in 2023 is set to be buzzing as legendary pop sensation Kylie Minogue OBE is going to be performing in Dubai.

Fans of The Loco-Motion and Spinning Around hitmaker will get the chance to hear her belt out tune after tune if they bag tickets to Atlantis, The Palm’s NYE Gala.

This year, the posh black-tie dinner event will be named ‘A Night With The Stars’ and as well as a dazzling performance from Kylie there will also be live music from a 30-piece band and a firework display which will light up the night sky.

Would be nice if we could have a new single by the end of the year, although I'm really not expecting it.

Same, I'm expecting a similar campaign to that of 'Golden'.

While I always love getting new kylie music I'm happy for her to hold off til next year as santa baby will be back in the charts soon enough and then I'd like the new single to follow after Christmas.Kylie needs the recent Elton john magic remix on a single ;)

I am really in two minds when it comes to things like this. Part of me feels like any act who supports gay rights / women's rights / trans right etc should stay the hell away from places like Dubai and Russia etc. Then another part of me thinks it's not the fault of the people living there who disagree with those policies so why should they miss out? Also someone like Elton John, who has toured Russia, takes every opportunity to promote gay rights and that can only be good.

I think the thing that grates me is someone like Kylie is not going to do that, instead she will take her huge paycut for it and then perform at Brighton Pride where she will be paid several hundred thousands to say how much she loves her gay fans...

That's definitely true, like Madonna raising the rainbow flag during her concert and Russia and I think Sophie Ellis-Bextor has also talked about this before. The different, I think or I imagine, with Dubai is that she will probably perform for mostly rich expats who are having a good time instead of the regular people living in a country, like the case with Russia for example.

Oh Kylie, out of all the countries BMG sends you to perform, they chose THAT country?

What have BMG got to do with it? They are a record label, not a booking agency. :mathswoman:

I thought BMG is her management too?
