After so great week and performances, I'd say this one wasn't good vocally.

Actually I haven't remember any really good ones on SCD. Really strange platform for big stars.

Anyway, he could do it better.

She's The One in XXV version fits more, of course.

It was a strange choice in that when he sings it live he always allows the audience to sing the high note at the end so why pick that one to struggle through? :unsure:

 

I thought he would sing Lost too.

 

He appeared to be enjoying watching the dancing rather than concentrating on the singing. :lol:

 

Twitter tore him to pieces although the album is back to number one ITunes so the performance worked in that sense.

In fairness SCD has a fairly general audience on Twitter plus the manic ones that say the most awful things about the participants on the show , when I say awful I mean awful. Robbie's performance last night was not his best ( , bad choice of sone , Lost of GN was fab so cannot understand why he did not stick with that.

 

 

I know he is dying to do the Eurovision half time party piece but it would worry me which Rob would turn up on the night :lol:

 

It's a pity he did not put in a bit more effort given that he is selling his tour at the minute

 

I think with the Aussie gig he really went for it & got his promo done in one go & Reel stories he was sitting down very relaxed so very little to criticize

Looking back at the video again tonight I feel he sings the song in a way more gentle manner & performed it that way on purpose ,even the musicians are playing away gently in the background , there is nothing forced about it . I am guessing it was arranged by Guy to be performed that way . I think we are just used to the original version so it sounds strange.

All that said -I absolutely love She's the One -it's always a highlight for me when he sings it - it's a beautiful song and everyone singing along in a stadium always sounds great.
