ANGELS

I would love if Robbie brought this out as a single, really gorgeous

The opening section is beautiful, shame the video cuts off before the end

Nice to hear LOST being played on the radio .

So all roads still lead to Dubai -_-

i realized today that at one point of the performance he spoke bout the past before Eternity when he spoke about Geri Halliwel. He said that at that time he only had one friend he took with him to hide behind and who could speak for him.

I guess this was Jonny.

So I guess the reason he took a distance officially is not to be reminded of the dark time?

Been listening back to the Elbphilharmonie gig tonight, loved Robs storytelling & intimacy of the gig , really superb , the audience responded as the show went on , was great to see. Laughed at the way he picked out the guy in the audience with the t-shirt & baseball cap ( how did he get in  )

Favourite songs were Come Undone, Sexed Up, Road to Mandalay ( ending was divine ) , Eternity , delighted he did Bodies ( another level with the Orchestra ) & of course Angels , loved that version.

Would be great if they released a CD of the gig ..

Watched this today -thank you for the link Tess ^_^

The venue looked amazing -what a beautiful building and amazing lighting effects.

Robbie looked and sounded amazing. Powerful and confident.

I didn't sense any nerves from him at the start -just a sense of wonderment how beautiful the setting and orchestra were.

The orchestra were absolutely fantastic -it must have been amazing to hear that live in the hall.

I really enjoyed listening to him talking and explaining about his life and having fun with the audience. That is his forte -he's so good at picking up on characters and has a lovely story telling style. ^_^

I thought Road to Mandalay was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL :yahoo: I listened to it three times just so I could hear the orchestral arrangement again. If Guy was responsible for that and indeed any of them - then he's amazing.

Loved Millenium - my favourite song on the album, loved No Regrets, and Eternity. It was good to hear Bodies and I always enjoy She's The One and Angels.

It was so good to see a mature performance with an amazing orchestra, hearing his stories and his candor on mental health. He really was two decades ahead of his time with some of these lyrics. I could honestly listen to him talking all night he's such an erudite and inspiring speaker.

Good to see Steve Sidwell there again- looking exactly the same as he did 20 years ago :o

Wouldn't it be nice if he could perform a duet of Eternity with Geri Halliwell/Horner?

Also really nice to hear him talk about Jonny - if not by name but by reference.

Robbie is as skinny as he was during the Escapology promo.

Germany love him!

I like to see Owen Parker and Karl together with him.

I'm sure they will go Qatar together then.

I agree about Road to Mandala Laura, such a gorgeous arrangement , I also would love to know the backstory to this arrangement. Also loved Angels, it's not always my favourite song but this arrangement was sublime & just has to be admired .

Hopefully they will, the gig is in a golf club is it not, it's not a stadium . DEC 8th ...

I was listening to a radio how here this morning & of course Robs name was mentioned . The host asked one of the panel if he was going to watch the games & he said YES cause his kids wanted to see it  . So they expect Rob to do all the leading by example -_- . I mean , come on !
