He told it because it's too personal song for him and it's difficult to perform it often, and didn't sure he would perform it anytime again.

Maybe it means more to him now when he looks back & realises how good some people were to him at the time , I wonder of Geri has ever been in an audience recently where he sang it . I just think it's an amazing song to have been written about you .

Robbie Williams: this provocation on the Star Academy set that goes wrong

On the evening of Saturday November 26, Robbie Williams honored him with his presence at the very popular “Star Academy” final. But the sponsor of the program has drawn the wrath of Internet users by making a surprising gesture.

The king of provocation has struck again. Saturday, November 26, the grand finale of Star Academy was broadcast on TF1. At the end of this evening punctuated by memorable duets and other performances, it was Anisha who was acclaimed by the viewers , winning against Enola, Louis and Léa. To celebrate this victory as it should be, the sponsor of this 2022 edition of tele-hook, Robbie Williams, decided to participate in this great evening, making a remarkable entrance on stage, and that's an understatement! Indeed, when going down the stairs, the interpreter of Feel turned his back to the camera, lifting his jacket to show his posterior .

“ What's the secret to be at the rendezvous with the public, you who burn the boards and the stages of the whole world? ”, Nikos Aliagas then asked the international star. Respondent's response: " You have to fill the stage ." But many viewers perhaps did not expect the 48-year-old singer to put on the show in this way, not hesitating to show their annoyance on the Web. “ A little respect to the millions of viewers, Robbie Williams ”, railed a surfer on Twitter. “ Robbie Williams showing his ass and not speaking French on the night of the final. Ashamed ! Too bad we can't vote for him to quit  ,” blasted another. A scandal that comes after that of Marc Lavoine , the singer having been singled out during a previous bonus for having kissed Léa in the neck .

I wonder why he is doing either this kind of show when he has no time to invest in the candidates, why he is doing so much in France and why he is then provoking within a show which is not his?

I think folk on social media have lost totally their sense of humour, it's all criticism & apologising nowadays , it''s ridiculous . Robbie has kept his sense of humor, does his own thing & I doubt will change for anyone ..

Good duet.

I guess he does shows like this because there aren't many other ways of selling albums? Or maybe it makes it more interesting for him to be a part of a game show.

I wondering if he is concentrating on France because of Ayda's love of the country?

He's never sold there as well as other countries even in his heyday.

He seems to have given up on Scandanavia these days?

Everyone is waiting to be offended these days Tess.

I don't know how people have the energy to be angry all the time. It must be exhausting.

While there is definitely a need for protection in this way or the other, there is also a lot of unnecessary restriction. Comedians are hardly funny these days as they have to look after what is allowed and what not and so are other public and less public persons. I wonder what they would make these days from the Knebworth kisses?

He had done a lot of promotion in Germany. He said in one show that he polarizes and if you are not a fan like he has quite a lot in the UK and Germany you either like or hate him and those who hate him can be quite painful in their comments.

He is right on the other hand does also anything to polarize and I think it is more nature rather than that he does it for a publicity stunt.

I wonder if he does some countries as he also wants to sell his game show for next year. I know that he has some talks with John de Mol who is the distributor and inventor of Big Brother concept and the Voice

I don't believe that anything he does this and next year is not planned in detail.

It makes no sense by the kind of promotion in days of streaming and social media to go to Scandinavia yet. I believe he than would concentrate more on Latin America.

Did he sell the arenas in Scandinavia?

If not he will have a stint on TV there :-) I guess

If Better Man will be in the cinemas also in the USA and Canada next year is maybe his last shot to become also a star there and these days I think he would go for it

But if they "hate" him so much why do they follow him to see what he does , I do not get that at all, are they all members of the one hate club or something & are obsessed with him & have to feed their habit  , a bit like a drug & the euphoria that goes with it. I think the press do it purely for click-bait & the revenue that goes with it .

I can remember comics from years back & they probably would not get away with some of the stuff they did nowadays but tbh is that a good or a bad thing, I think the fun & the freedom to laugh without upsetting someone is gone & it's a shame because laughter is good for you. If people do not like what they are hearing maybe they should not be at that show in the first place.

I do think you might indeed have a good point as to why he might be visiting these countries , it could indeed be to do with the tv shows he talks about & yes I remember the name Jon de Mol & he walks in the same circles as Simon Cowell .

Anyway it's all looking good for the future

I am loving Rob's suits this time around, must have got a new stylist , maybe he listened to all our complaints after all
Until now I like everything about the campaign. I have the feeling it is very well thought through and starts to be too huge to fail. Personally I think we all should have a natural sense of where the borders of our doings are. At least we should. I don't believe in rules dictated by whoever not bu majorities and not by minorities. We are all equal. I also think that for an open mind like Rob he balances it very good.
