Has it been mentioned that Padam Padam is now 59p on iTunes? :o Sorry if I missed that. Nice that BMG are reacting to the midweeks.

Didn’t realise it had been reduced as the price disappears after purchase - love that BMG have reacted to the mids, the first time since ‘Dancing’ that they have!

The 59p will help and I'd also agree that now would be a great time to get a remix out aswell. BMG have too see that padam.padam has potential to do well so it's going to be interesting to see how they will manage it.

59p is best option.

 

The song hasn't even gone to radio 2 playlist yet. Remixes shouldn't really be released until the song has established on some playlists etc. Physicals can be released sometime etc. We have no idea what they have planned for Padam Padam. They are obviously tracking its progress and probably aim now is to get it top 40 even if its 39. They can release a remix on Thursday and know it can get them the sales it needs. Best thing would be to do a 59p instrumental download or something from her website this week to make sure top 40.

 

Chucking everything out in first 5 days looks a little desperate. They maybe very confident they have a hit.

 

The only error is the original Thursday release.

 

There must be a lot of people who can still download the version off the standard iTunes album (the one hovering around50 on the iTunes chart)

 

I honestly think if she is in the UK at the weekend for her birthday that she will make an appearance at GAY and sing Padam Padam and that's it as a treat. It makes a lot of sense. Maybe release a physical pre-order on her birthday for a few weeks time.

 

Or the first Padam EP with original 59p song, and extended Mix and stick 10 out of 10 as third song. Change art works and make everyone purchase again. Keep the longevity going as well as picking up extra streaming

Both kylie and bmg were over the moon with dancing going top 40 and I think they will now want the same for padam padam as a top 40 is big result for them both, let's just hope it can happen now at some point.

Just to say how amazing is she doing in Ireland!! 30 on Apple Music, still 2 on Itunes. Could well be a top 40 hit there?

 

Australia very strong also on Apple Music, YouTube, Shazam and Itunes. Looks like it's going to chart there too

Where she usually falls dramatically as things tail off is not happening this week. It's got noticed! Finally

 

All this will hardly any radio play, no UK promo. Yes the 2 album download pre orders have helped but its done it because people like it

I will say that I haven't actually downloaded it yet (been streaming it like crazy!), but I will download before the end of Thursday for sure!

 

I guess she'll need approaching 11,000 sales in the week to stay Top 40. Maybe something like 10,500. It feels like a tall order, but fingers crossed...

 

Btw in the Sunday mids, Kylie sales at #21 were 2843 while the #20 was on 3001, so she missed out on the Radio 1 First Look chart by 158 sales.

2 & 22 on Itunes now. I mean 100 downloads is equivalent to 15,000 streams so although not huge her downloads will be very important this week and that 59p is a good idea. Loreen nearly got 6k of downloads last week alone, obviously on the back of Eurovision but it is possible to grab a lot more than the 1.4k she has already got

 

I think if BMG needed to they will release something Thursday lunch time to grab the downloads needed.

 

Putting a remix out right now though is taking away from the quality of the original song.

 

I do think a bit remix is already done though for the clubs. I would not be surprised with a feature of another artist too and also maybe another video.......
