I've also noted that it's moving up on US iTunes again - a day or so ago it was in the lower 80s and now it's back up to #53. I guess Pride month is helping it.

I'm (beginning to) wonder if this does start to make waves internationally, whether there's a chance it could make a small splash there?

 

Of course I'm not even really thinking about that, I just want to push as high as possible this side of the pond for now!

Happy with the mives from bmg as it all adds up but I really think tgey need to get a remix out aswell as it could kylie at least another thousand if not more sales.

I think their strategy has been spot on for something which even if they were expecting a hit would have exceeded their expectations!

 

The fact that the extended mix is only available via her website to download or on the CD single will push sales in that direction, after this week the CD single is essentially done so perfect time to release it onto iTunes and streaming.

They may even drop the extended mix on i tunes on Thursday after the CD sales have dropped off, as this will give them an extra few sales.

 

Also BMG are actually really good in chart battles, if something is in reach they do pull out all the stops. I think they will push for this to be her highest charting single in over a decade. I feel Kylie has a great home ar BMG. I feel she has been treated much better than parlaphone treated her.

Santa Baby peaked at #20 in UK and even at #44 in the US

Agree it’s high - I don’t think they even discounted the ASTM CD singles though that were £5 for 1 track?

20% increase in Spotify streams compared to last Friday! This, combined with #1 on airplay and the CDs being shipped out makes for a great start to this week. We should really go all out and get her into the top 15!
