I think she never really broke the HHUK playlist and people said that was the most influential. Makes me laugh sometimes hun because you come out with all your hopes and dreams and I come out with one, hoping it can be placed higher on some of the playlists and you shoot me down hun. It isnt the first time either, just shoot me down in flames hun.

 

I am well aware it has been on loads of playlists and it has done its job but because of new songs and other songs she never really broke HHUK and maybe if she had, it would have charted even higher. So forgive me if I wish it was placed higher on a few playlists.

Meanwhile - caught the WWHL show on youtube: I'm overall impressed that Kylie is choosing spots this time where the hosts have done their homework and treat her like the global icon she is (they're well aware of Neighbours, the PWL days, the "#1 in 5 consec decades", etc.). The tone has gone from "welcome to new territories of the US" to "shame on us americans, we've been msising out on the the phenomenon that is Kyile"

 

Goes a long way to building/expanding her image in the US.

Yes. Just realised I posted in the wrong place. It can afford to be overtaken by 1 song. And as hopefully 2 of the next 3 songs are Harry Styles and Taylor Swift, I’d say it currently has a 1,300 sales buffer with 2 days of sales left. Quite promising.

I’ve managed to get my hands on some more information.

 

Kylie is gently pulling away from Harry Styles and Jorja Smith - and of course massively from Taylor Swift.

 

Both Weeknd and Gunna are moving towards Kylie, but by say 250 per day, which would not be nearly enough to overtake her.

 

So Kylie is likely to end the week up at number 10.

 

The other good news is that her streams are only down 2%. So if we can increase that to 0, she won’t go on ACR yet.

 

However, there’s a bit of puzzling information that I’ve discovered. Can anyone confirm whether PP decreased its streaming last week? The data that I looked at doesn’t seem to suggest that she has had her first week of decline yet, and as last week was week 7, it should have been the first week of decline?

But this is Amazon. And streams on Amazon on a Thursday do count - surely.
