BMG can reset Padam Padam if they want. Maybe they will for the week before An Audience with..... i think they need to give a few weeks notice before the promo

Whether they reset it or not there is a good chance it will re enter the top 100 after an audience with.

Padam was easily her biggest single since Can't Get You Out Of My Head in terms of impact and commercial success. What a feat.
The mixtape has sold out now on the Kylie store so all the physicals for both PP and Tension singles have sold out (apart from the Tension cassette), hopefully that’ll encourage BMG to continue doing them.
Impact yes but commercially all the lovers did very very well.

 

I feel like these are both equally key singles for her in this regard, although maybe thinking Padam x2's impact has been even bigger :o

Yes, a bit of a mini boost (it’s currently #21 and Tension is #33).

Good that its few seconds on Big Brother has help it get a further few sales, i am so impressed by how well its done on itunes, hopefully at some point we will find out its total paid for sales.

Padam has been removed from Hot Hits UK after 147 days, end of an era! Wonder if we will ever see a Kylie song on there again :lol:

Padam Padam is a staple and will get added to Pride playlists every year etc.

The fact a Kylie song even got on there in the first place is such a monumental thing, what a run it's had!

 

Shame they couldn't have shown a bit of kindness towards 'Tension', I think its initial Spotify performance without being on there warranted an add.

I don't think it works like that, on Hot Hits an artist can have more than one song on there - it's not like the Radio 1 playlist. But the fact they didn't add 'Tension' doesn't bode well for her getting anything else on there in the future sadly.

Since entering the 2023 Year End To-Date Chart, 'Padam Padam' has climbed 100-99-98 on the list. Hope it can hold on by year end!
At least the Remix EP and BTS video has been promoted on her socials today - usually they don’t mention them until a few days later :kink:
