You all take these daily streaming figures too deep.

 

The song could literally go anywhere up or down on a few thousand streams.

 

She is selling on Itunes nicely which combats some of those close streaming positions on Spotify, plus she is higher on Apple and we haven't got a clue of those numbers.

 

She was in the 20s all last week on Spotify and came in 8rh in the chart, doesn't that tell you something lol.

 

Stop looking for the peak and enjoy the success

The facts are it has stalled and that the spotify numbers are actually dropping

 

Yes it is doing amazing and we are all so happy with it

We are, but we can still analyse the data we see! That's part of the fun for us, even if you're not fussed.

 

We know that being in the 20s all week on Spotify contributed to #8 overall in the chart. But we can also remark about what we're seeing - that, currently, it's stalled on Spotify, after a few weeks of growth. So the discussion is: has this already done the absolute best it's going to do on Spotify?

There is every chance it has done its absolute best on streaming now but a big part of me thinks there is more to come or maybe its wishful thinking on my part but even if padam padam has peaked this journey with the song has been great. There is still a part of ne that can't believe that Kylie is currently top 10 in the singles chart and even better not just a flash in the pan appearance. It's itunes success is also incredible.

i would say any drop in Streams at the moment is from Kylie fans having a break from streaming 20 times a day haha. Its been up and down but i would its very steady.

 

i am actually wondering if they could try and stop this going to ACR until after the album release, is that even possible if they used remixes strategically ?

 

Anyway still expecting Padam Padam to have 2-3 remixes and 2 or 3 variants within those remixes,like club mix, extended club mix etc and with every remix it will be added to the original edit on Spotify etc to grab extra streaming as well as downloads.

Yes I agree, the remixes are being held back to stop ARC to extend its chart run. BMG are really good at being strategic. They never just go for the highest peak. They aim to extend a songs life, which I understand.

I thought with it charting in Hungary it would have made spotify there first.

New peak of 22 in Irish Spotify
