I almost think they should hold off… it’s holding up well without fans having to multibuy downloads, save them for the big push into the Top 15 or Top 10 when the fanbase has been whipped up into a frenzy and we’ll buy anything they throw at us.

My hypothesis is that we lack Apple Music streaming for one more day than we lacked yesterday. Otherwise this small but not-so-small increase in streaming and 35 in yesterday’s gain doesn’t make sense.

 

And no, I don’t think they should release anything this week. It’s a shame PP isn’t going top-20 this week, but this week is insignificant overall. It will still add around 15k sales, so all good.

Good to see it top 10 on Apple Music in small countries like Malta and Ireland. Hopefully it gains in others too.

From 1334, to 1196... :thinking: That's a -10.34% decrease. How? :o

 

Considering it's so much higher up Apple Music and Spotify compared to last week, I don't understand... Is it because of the music video streaming getting lower? Or is it maybe the case that there's some data missing in today's midweeks that weren't missing last Wednesday?

 

 

Could it be the quality of streams?

As far as I can see from his Spotify he doesn't have commercially released remixes for big name artists, so it might be an indication that this was just for his DJ set?

 

However I think it would be great if Kylie (well, BMG) commissioned some remixes by lesser known queer artists, in time for Pride Month.

 

Will be interesting to see who will be remixing it though. I'd like one from Initial Talk!

I think Initial Talk maybe one. My other two would be Purple Disco Mqchine and then a heavier Tiesto mix.

I think we could be getting way more than usual though, it's establishing itself as a big single and loads of people will want to be a part of it.

^^ I thought we could get more than normal too, I feel like the fact it’s taken off might have led to BMG sending out a call to arms - plus bigger/different remixers may be more inclined to get involved now too as it’s already a proven success?
