#24 today with 11,680 sales.

 

#20 has 12,525 sales and #23 has 12,131 so expecting it to stay where it is for Fridays chart.

Do we have the sales breakdown for today? I really wonder how streaming gained.

 

If we don’t have it:

 

On Wed the figure was 9,558 sales. It means it gained 2,122 sales in a day.

Yet on Wednesday mids she only gained 1,525 sales compared to the Tuesday mids.

If we were to say that she sold roughly the same amount of downloads (350), that would mean around 1,800 streams gained yesterday, compared to 1,200 (!) the day before.

 

So I’m pretty sure now that in yesterday’s mids there were extra missing streams, most probably from Apple Music.

On a positive note - do we think Kylie can increase on streams next week? Do you think we will get any new digital downloads on i tunes etc to plump those sales up a bit? If the CD is out next week, will they add anything else to try and push Kylie higher in the charts?

So yes, my theory of missing data yesterday is working.

Digital sales are up 323 day-by-day.

Streaming sales are up 1,799 day-by-day, compared to 1,199 yesterday. Up 50%.

This - it’s a massive plus to have good figures for streaming and downloads, it shows what a difference can be made to a Kylie release when both collide.

 

Hopefully the single will create some curiosity streams for the album even if none of the other singles reach people radars.
