I think there will be a mass rally behind her and downloading if it looks remotely possible.

Gah, I should've waited before purchasing them all in week 1!

Love that a 2024 Kylie release has achieved that - in the streaming era I never thought we’d see that in the UK or US.

It was definitely something I'll never forget/never quite believe was actually real!

I def think the same.

I done that same but those sales were needed in week 1.

I’m ready for a 7” vinyl and 5 remixes to drop - take my money

Back up at #10 on Apple Music despite the new song ahead of it.
I was thinking more a surprise appearance at Mighty Hoopla, BGT Final, Soap Awards performance etc.

Although all that success you wonder if they had any UK promo booked before it took off how it did?

Honestly, I don’t think they thought this would take off so much so soon they’d probably saved all the plush uk promo slots for the album release

Exactly this - even if they thought they had a hit on their hands I don’t think they could have predicted how it’s taken on a life of its own with memes etc.,

It’s not like this has ever happened before with a Kylie BMG single release.

It’s new territory for BMG to have a hit Kylie single on their hands and I have to say they are navigating it perfectly, maybe the CD singles could have dropped a week later but the fact they whipped them straight out for pre-order when the song took off shows they were quick to react.

I'm just doing a mock-up projection in my head, if these climbs on streaming amount to it adding at least another 6-7k this week and the CDs (presumably) add another 2k, going by last week's sales that would've put it borderline top 10. Though that depends if the sales threshold is higher or lower than 23k this week amongst all the other factors.

Well its definitely got more Amazon Music Sales so far this week

10 Apple Music

37 Amazon Music

43 Spotify Music

79 Deezer

2 & 72 Itunes

+ CD release and it seems quite a few fans have bought 2 or 3 copies each...... out of interest how much was postage and packaging for 3 copies, still £3?

#58 on audio streaming! Drops 35-90 on video streams and climbs 81-59 on the overall streaming chart. Still #1 on downloads, of course.

It was at 66 on Spotify in the week. So 66 on Spotify, 90 on YouTube, low on Amazon, but top-15 in Apple helped this reach top-60.

£4.50

Oh not bad. I should have bought 3 lol.

I do think a 2.99 CD, 2.99 Cassette and 4.99 vinyl or 9.99 for all 3 bundle would be a good option. Put a different remix on each one

I think that with how effective BMG has been with the promo thus far if there's any chance of going top 10 they will pull every last stop to get it.

I can see multiple remixes, acoustic versions, a lyric video, super-fast shipping physicals etc. all being put to use concurrently in that scenario.

One thing BMG are good at is a chart battle/campaign - they’ve shown it with Disco and many of their artists (Steps being a notable one), appreciate this is a single rather than an album but I still think they will react if needed.

I believe if this has a chance of Top 10 they won’t let it pass them by without a battle - they will be well aware of the benefits of leading into an album campaign with their biggest artist having a big, high charting hit single.

I think website exclusive downloads is a potential goldmine for extra needed sales, and I hope they unitise that again if it is going to be close!
BMG like to have control, same as Disco album. They have the solid foundations and then they can track and react if necessary
The difficulty with website downloads is that they actually need to download them after they’ve purchased them. Not everyone knows that so there is missing sales.
