Posted October 13, 20222 yr Ten Years Of The Vamps is the first compilation album by the British pop rock band The Vamps. It was released on 14 October 2022 via EMI and UMC. It will be promoted with an arena tour set to begin on November 22, 2022 in Manchester, UK. The album is the band's first compilation album of the greatest hits over the past ten years and five albums. Tracklisting: 1. "Wild Heart" 2. "She Was The One" 3. "Risk It All" 4. "Wake Up" 5. "Same To You" 6. "All Night" 7. "Just My Type" 8. "Part Of Me (Demo)" 9. "Married In Vegas (Live at Hammersmith, UK/Cherry Blossom Tour 2021)" 10. "Nothing But You (Live at Hammersmith, UK/Cherry Blossom Tour 2021)" 11. "Chemicals (Live at Hammersmith, UK/Cherry Blossom Tour 2021)" 12. "Would You (Live at Hammersmith, UK/Cherry Blossom Tour 2021)" We should look at completing the abandoned Vamps Rate from last year, would go very well with the Compilation Album!
October 13, 20222 yr It's not meant to be a greatest hits album, it's just a few fan favourites + some previously unreleased live versions (and a demo) to go alongside their 10 year tour.
October 13, 20222 yr Still feels odd to celebrate 10 years without 'Can We Dance' or 'Somebody to You' at least. Both absolute bops!
October 13, 20222 yr This is a mess! Where the hell's their actual big hit?! Also, 'Somebody To You' being missed off?!
October 13, 20222 yr This is a mess! Where the hell's their actual big hit?! Also, 'Somebody To You' being missed off?! As I said above, it's not intended to be a greatest hits or any sort of hits collection, it's just a little compilation for the fans. (and for what it's worth, their biggest hit is actually on there :kink:)
October 14, 20222 yr What is their biggest hit? I thought for sure it was Can We Dance! I imagine it’ll be ‘All Night’ now? Despite not hitting the Top 20, I think it’s racked up quite a few sales.
October 14, 20222 yr What is their biggest hit? I thought for sure it was Can We Dance! Exactly. I can't see how 'Wild Heart' was bigger?
October 14, 20222 yr Yeah 'All Night' is their biggest selling, having been certified Platinum back in April 2018 whilst 'Can We Dance' reached that certification in December 2020 (followed by 'Somebody to You' in October 2021).
October 14, 20222 yr the one thing i have to give the vamps credit for is their a touring machine. i suppose its where their money is made as they literally do a world tour in arenas and then follow up with more intimate shows quite soon after... they must be exhausted
October 14, 20222 yr I imagine it’ll be ‘All Night’ now? Despite not hitting the Top 20, I think it’s racked up quite a few sales. True, it had a long run in the top 40.
October 17, 20222 yr It's not meant to be a greatest hits album, it's just a few fan favourites + some previously unreleased live versions (and a demo) to go alongside their 10 year tour. It's still a bizarre idea to pick a seemingly random collection of just 7 songs for a compilation (not all of which are even singles unless I'm mistaken?) - unless these songs are particular fan favourites or something? Surely a full greatest hits would have made more sense, and probably sold reasonably well if they'd made lots of formats available?
October 17, 20222 yr Nice for the fans but a bizarre release and missed opportunity - this is going to be something that only appeals to hardcore fans, they could have done so much more to celebrate 10 years rather than releasing live tracks and 1 format

I think the CD is an afterthought to the zine it accompanies, celebrating 10 years of the band. That's why they didn't do a full GH, I have no doubt that they easily could have but evidently chose not to.
