Wasn't sure if this was going to be Miami or And The Beat Goes On for a moment (it's the former, the one before was Shania - MIFLAW)

oh BOO at Blue getting skipped

yet Barbie Girl wasn’t deemed to novelty to give a play to yesterday :’)

Brimful Of Asha is more essential so glad they played that, then Vengaboys' Boom×4 skipped
What on Earth is inappropriate about the Boom x4 lyrics? Not too happy about them skipping tracks unless they’re seriously inappropriate or really too explicit. They shouldn’t just be skipping things because they’re deemed a bit silly.

oh the skipping makes a bit more sense now if they’re doing it to make room to play the entirety of stairway to heaven.

still a bit crap though that its the novelty dance that gets the boot when there’s plenty of rock in the chart already.

I guess it could be cause of long songs being played. I just got assuming petty reasons they might skip tracks lol.

On second thoughts there isn't much if any explicit lyrics in the Vengaboys song lol.

'Where Is My Mind?' was in the top 100 on Spotify not long ago! Great song, didn't realise it never charted on release.

coi's fave at #249

To be fair there's a LOT in this list I'm beyond tired of hearing

Great to see Learn To Fly in there though!

eat Loaf :cheeseblock: Bat Out Of Hell

(Only bothering giving 2 peaks where they're in separate decades and the later one is higher)

So are they going to include Xmas songs when they get into the top 100?
Actually it’s surprising there haven’t been any Xmas songs already - wonder if they’ve been filtered out?!

220 John Lennon - Imagine

219 Michael Jackson - The Way You Make Me Feel

218 The Waterboys - The Hole Of The Moon

217 House of Pain - Jump Around

216 Madonna - Like A Prayer

Thinking about it I expect the whole Top 300 would be littered with Xmas songs with MariWham #1 and #2, so I can see why that wouldn’t work for a radio countdown in October. Would be good to have some transparency around that though.
