December 22, 20222 yr Radio pre-order and preview available on Beatport, At first listen It sounds as a generic Regard song, nothing remarkable except MNEK's voice, https://www.beatport.com/release/radio-extended/3964392 Edited December 22, 20222 yr by JOTA
January 5, 20232 yr Has anyone heard RADIO yet? MNEK sounds fab-u-lous but the production is so bland I could recreate it myself given some basic beats.
January 6, 20232 yr Author I think I like it? Maybe it'll take a few more listens. I can't help but compare it to Jax Jones - Where Did You Go?
January 6, 20232 yr This is okay. Beyond generic, but that's hardly surprising. There's part of the verse when MNEK sings and it sounds like something in particular, but not sure what it is.
January 6, 20232 yr I think this is one of Sigala's worst to date. It tastes like a chunky log dipped in rotten cheese
January 6, 20232 yr I think this is one of Sigala's worst to date. It tastes like a chunky log dipped in rotten cheese a bad start of 2023 . I suspect that Sigala is not going to bring anything exciting in the short term. Edited January 6, 20232 yr by JOTA
January 6, 20232 yr Author Okay it does get better with more listens. Very surprised to see Radio 1 put it as Tune of the Weekend straight away! 4Y1FZbtBAhc
January 6, 20232 yr It’s like they want the “Where Are You Now” by Lost Frequencies ft Calum Scott kinda vibe and want the “I keep hearing song on the radio, getting me emotional, telling me I can’t let you go” part to be a similar catchy hook. The only problem I have with this is there is no instrumental build. It’s very samey throughout. Edited January 6, 20232 yr by Chloe00x
January 6, 20232 yr Okay, I might be pushing it a bit here... but do the verses sound a little bit like sped-up verses of As Long As You Love Me by Backstreet Boys? You can almost sing along "Evey little thing that you have said and done..." Can't you? Edited January 6, 20232 yr by CJK
January 7, 20232 yr Really enjoying ‘Rely On Me’ at the moment, even away from the sample I think it’s a good song; I like the verses and the “everybody hurts sometimes” post-chorus. ‘Radio’ is okay but veers too generic to properly get behind.
January 9, 20232 yr Loving ‘Radio’ now. Thought it was alright to begin with but it’s definitely grown on me.
January 19, 20232 yr This is okay. Beyond generic, but that's hardly surprising. There's part of the verse when MNEK sings and it sounds like something in particular, but not sure what it is. Backstreet Boys
