November 7, 20222 yr Just hope that when England play the USA on the 25th, that ITV don't mess it up again just as they did when the two teams met in the 2010 World Cup.
November 7, 20222 yr Just hope that when England play the USA on the 25th, that ITV don't mess it up again just as they did when the two teams met in the 2010 World Cup. It was on the ITV HD channel that the Gerrard goal was missed. The annoying thing was that that was the best moment England had in the whole tournament.
November 8, 20222 yr It will be interesting to see how viewing figures compare for this World Cup to previous tournaments.

November 13, 20222 yr It will be interesting to see how viewing figures compare for this World Cup to previous tournaments. Could be a lot higher being in winter and everyone will be in doors but less communal watches!
November 13, 20222 yr The way the BBC line-up is presented is a bit odd in that the TV/Radio commentators/co-commentators seem to be in one long list rather than any distinction between the two. As long as McCoist and Champion are on itv I will be happy! Edited November 14, 20222 yr by Steve201

November 20, 20222 yr The BBC coverage so far has been very lukewarm with Gary Lineker presenting the start of the opening game here like a news report with a stern face. They also didn’t spend much on the opening titles which is usually the best out of all the channels - also noticed they didn’t really have any advertisement for the tournament - correct me if I’m wrong?
