If Mexico is eliminated today, their streak of 7 consecutive World Cups qualifying to the Round of 16 would end. The top three would then be:

Brazil - 14 consecutive times, this includes 2022. The last time they didn't clear the group phase was 1966.

Argentina - 4 consecutive times, likely to go up to 5 today.

Uruguay - 3 consecutive times, streak also in severe risk of ending.

He produced a phenomenal double penalty save to deny Saudi Arabia.

He's now thwarted Lionel Messi from 12-yards.

Wojciech Szczesny is having a superb World Cup.

Mexico have put in 2, which puts pressure on Poland, another goals against them or if Mexico scores again, then the group standings change in mexico's favor.

If Poland and Mexico go level on yellow cards Fifa would have to draw lots to decide who goes through.
Mexico were a lot better last night but they left it too late. Didn't do anything in the opening game and were just as bad as Poland were versus Argentina.
I just saw that Chavez free kick, wow one of the best goals in any world cup ever! Shame that wasn't the one that put them through.
