Well done Jade on the TTTT 65 today :cheer: Once he gave the answer to Q10, I remembered it had been on a recent TOTP repeat!

Friday:

Round 1: 6 (missed

Bonnie Tyler (-3), 'Something For The Weekend' (-3), Bob Dylan (-6), 1973 (-3), Supergrass (-6), Tammy Wynette (-3), Elkie Brooks (-6), Dodgy (-3)

)

Round 2: 15 (missed

Paul Simon (-6), Dr. Feelgood (-3), 1984 (-3), 'What I've Got In Mind' (-3), New Kids On The Block (-3), Junior (-6)

)

3 in 10: 3/3 (

'Fantasy', 'Dreamlover', 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'

)

Got off to a bad start

confusing 'Holding Out For A Hero' with 'We Don't Need Another Hero', so I guessed Tina Turner

but otherwise I feel like these questions were all just outside my knowledge. 3 years early and 2 years late on the years.

Today:

Round 1: 6 (missed

'Shine A Little Love' (-6), 1982 (-3), 'Could Have Told You So' (-3), 'Dead Giveaway' (-6), 'I Need You' (-3), Alice Cooper (-3), 'Come Undone' (-6), Joe Jackson (-3)

)

Round 2: 21 (missed

Bread (-3), 911 (-6), Odyssey (-3), Tina Turner (-3), 1971 (-3)

)

3 in 10: 3/3 (

'Massachusetts', 'Jive Talkin'', 'Tragedy'

)

Again most of round 1 I had absolutely no clue on so just not for me. Round 2 was still one of my best scores since the return but still should have been a bit higher -

I mindblanked on 911, all I could think was Boyzone and I knew that was wrong, and I probably should have remembered Tina Turner from the #1 albums sessions too, and maybe Odyssey too

. 1 year early and 9 years late on the years.

Ten To The Top

Friday:

Round 1: 0+1+2+0+0+1+0+0+1+0 = 5 (missed

Michael Hutchence, Tavares, 'Oh Carolina', 'It's Not Unusual', 1981, 'Your Love Is King'

)

Round 2: 1+2+3+0+0+1+2+3+0+0 = 12 (missed

JoBoxers, 1996, 'Swords Of A Thousand Men', 'Lucky Number'

)

I knew the INXS name would sound familiar but don't think I would have recalled without looking it up. Guessed 'Boombastic' for the Shaggy question, just mixing up my chronology there oops. I was a whole decade early on the Cliff hit, but 2 years late on Gina G grr

.

Today:

Round 1: 1+2+3+0+1+0+0+1+2+6 = 16 (missed

Third World, Sybil, 1984

)

Round 2: 1+2+3+0+1+2+0+1+2+0 = 12 (missed

The Rolling Stones, The Hollies, Captain Sensible

)

Today I learned the chorus of Heavy D & The Boyz' 'Now That We Found Love' is a sample! Very annoyed at missing Captain Sensible as I was watching that TOTP rerun with Jade and I remembered the song but not the artist :drama: should have got The Rolling Stones too but I'd never have got The Hollies so no chance of a 65 there. Was 2 years late for the first year question.

So close, am I ever going to get a clean sweep on one of these episodes without a tiebreak spoiling it...

well done on the big scores all, missed quite a few of late, still not got Popmaster sorted but in TTTT today, full marks round 1 and then went and got the year wrong for

Bros

. I could have sworn it was a year earlier but turns out it was released that year but didnt chart till the following year and they go with year of chart entry, annoyingly :lol:
