3 in 10: 3/3 (

'The Tide Is High (Get The Feeling)', 'Eternal Flame', 'Whole Again'

) - finally an easy one x

2 years late for the second year.

I had several annoying misses today -

I said 'Who Am I' for the Tin Tin Out question, got the gist but I don't think that's close enough to give myself 1 point. Then confused Lisa Scott-Lee with Tina Barrett oops! + I knew Peter Sarstedt but the name just didn't come to mind in time

. I very confidently answered

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory

for the last bonus in round 1 and was shook at that being wrong -

think I was confusing 'Windmills Of Your Mind' with 'Pure Imagination'

.

Also had another bonus I managed to get with an educated guess though (

Enya

) so swings and roundabouts.

)

3 in 10: 1/3 (

'When A Child Is Born'

) - don't recognise anything else from this artist's list, except

'Winter Wonderland'

which I forgot this artist did a version of

1 year early for the second year - I did very well to pull back such a high score from that round after not getting the first two questions! Tbh I feel like I could have been able to get 39 on that round, none of those questions seem too far outside my knowledge range... very nice set of bonus questions there.

I confused

Supergrass with Supertramp

in the first round although I wouldn't have got it right either way as I said

'Alright', which wasn't Supergrass' first hit

.

Round 1: 27 - didn't get

Damon Albarn (contestant too quick!), Georgie Fame, 1984 (guessed 81)

Round 2: 39 :cheer:

Tiebreakers: 1/4 - only got

Nick Heyward

Three In Ten: 3 -

You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth, I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That), I'd Lie For You (And That's The Truth) [going for the long titles!]

Ken messing up a bit with the 3 in 10 today...

3 in 10: 3/3 (

'I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)', 'Bat Out Of Hell', 'Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad'

) -

the latter song title would have been appropriate if the contestant was given his correct score lel

5 years early for the first year. Never a chance with the bonuses on round 1. Should have been able to guess

Manic Street Preachers

on round 2 from the name of the bonus category though. Oh and I guess I should have got

The Real Thing song

from the #2 session the other day but there's my 70s chart memory being a sieve as usual!

Round 1: 30 - didn't get

1982 (argh, some of those songs were on one of Friday's TOTPs but couldn't recall if it was 81 or 82), Paul Simon, Spandau Ballet

Round 2: 30 - didn't get

1976 (one year out again with 75), The Police

Three in ten: 3 -

If You Had My Love, Waiting For Tonight, Love Don't Cost A Thing

Same scores as you:

Round 1 : 30 Didn't get

Sheryl Crow, Toploader, Paul Simon

Round 2 : 33 Didn't get

Alexandra Burke

3 in 10 : 1

Jenny From The Block

I had the same thought as the contestant on that singer.

Simple Minds, the year

Round 2 : 33 Didn't get

3 in 10 : 2

Always The Last To Know, Nothing Ever Happens

I got 8 out of 12 on the tie-break questions.

Round 1: 27 - didn't get

1987 (guessed 89), Peaches and Herb, The Sutherland Brothers & Quiver. I remember the Wombles one from a young age!

Round 2: 36 - didn't get the last question,

Phoebe Snow

- although I changed my mind just in time from

"The Specials" to "Special A.K.A."

Tiebreakers: 9/12 - didn't get

Linda Ronstadt & James Ingram, Shakin' Stevens, David Soul

- I fared a bit better than the contestants there :drama:
