Without the reset, she wouldn’t’ve gone to #1. I don’t see the point in songs being given a reset if they have already peaked. With "Mockingbird", I dont see that repeaking as it already peaked at #4 back in 2005. If I saw a former #1 getting a reset due to TikTok, I’d think what’s the point? It’s peaked and what do you want to achieve? A few extra weeks in the top 40?
