At around the 9:30 mark on
, Kylie says there's "version of a song that's been done here and there on previous tours but not had a proper moment" that will get focus on the Vegas setlist, curious as to what song that could be! My mind was immediately drawn to 'Breathe' as that's a song that's been performed occasionally before being dropped from the setlist or has been used in tour interludes, perhaps she's doing the mix with 'Je t'aime...' again from the Money Can't Buy tour? Would be a nice tribute to Jane Birkin who passed away last month.

I would love if it was breathe, as that song deserves everything it can get, i also love the Je t'aime version from the Money Can't Buy tour, often thought it could have worked well as single or a double a like it used to be done back in the day Je t'aime version re working worked aswell as blue monday did on cant get you out of my head.
I wish her every success with the Vegas shows but i hope it doesnt come at a cost to markets that do well for her such as the UK. Tension does have great potential to do well for her and i also think if the title track is the next single she has a good chance of another hit but she needs to spend time in the UK to promote.

 

 

She will be in the UK soon and all the usual promo she does will be coming. She has a big Radio 2 concert on 17th September.

 

The first promo in UK is next week with her Radio 2 countdown of her top 40 songs which is premiered on 21st on BBC Sounds and on Radio 2 on 28th. Tension/2nd single will be released that week too. She could a Las Vegas themed Strictly etc, G Norton stuff, Radio Stuff etc. Like i said something is coming end of Nov/very early Dec, don't think its Kylie Xmas but something for UK fans.

 

Las Vegas will just give her more publicity when we needs to use it. Its spread wide so she can do plenty of things inbetween

From what I can see on social media the main ticket buyers are indeed American. A lot easier and cheaper to get too
Went in a flash… I can see this turning into an 18 month residency :drama:
I guess its not possible to upgrade the venue!

I can see so much ‘tension’ already on various places about the Vegas stint - personally I would have liked her to end the campaign with a Vegas run then she could devote as much time to it as she wanted rather than doing it at the start of the album campaign.

 

Either way looks like it’s going to be a huge cash generator for her.

I agree as it would have given her more time to heavily promote in the UK and other countries she dies well in. I know the shows are a huge cash generator for her but as she's already loaded and very financially secure I'd say it's more a personal thing kylue wants to do.

It has to be for a career achievenent as financially Kylie is worth millions upon millions.

Chirstina Aguilera is doing 15-20 dates at same venue as Kylie Dec-April and is headlining the venue on New Years Eve. looks like they will be sharing the venue for their residencies
Hopefully they milk the content from Vegas and we get a CD/DVD release.

So Christina Aguilera is headlining Voltaire on 30/31st December and then releasing more dates later this week, thought to be in June
