February 9, 20241 yr Author Episode 7: AMAZING STRATEGIES IN PLAY. Sandra working with Parvati to keep her safe <3 I love Peter and how he’s running the faithful, but I also need him OUT. This season could be… perfect? Or at least close to it. I thought I’d be more disappointed because a lot of my favs have already left, but this is STILL serving. Casting Related: Marcellas (Big Brother 3, 7) confirmed yesterday that he was contacted about this season specifically but declined because he didn’t have a passport. Said he was glad to give this season a pass because of Janelle. It’s been 20 years, I don’t know why Marcellas always has a hate on for strong women! I need a season with Janelle, Danielle Reyes and Amy Crews to send his ass home first! Edited February 9, 20241 yr by Aaron.
February 16, 20241 yr Author Episode 8: Peacock has always done exceptionally well with its streaming content - but The Traitors US is just on another level completely. Although that was more of a filler episode, the writing was on the wall for either Parvati or Phaedra honestly. Even for myself, I was going back and forth on who I wanted to go. Parvati has had a target on her back since, well, the blindfolds came off  but I'm impressed that she made it this far and she ALMOST had John. Phaedra obviously cemented some strong relationships at the beginning which are starting to pay off. Phaedra recruiting Kate? Hmm. I don't hate her choice, but I'm not sure if this helps or hurts Phaedra. I think Kate will work with Phaedra and keep her safe in some capacity, at least at the beginning - but Kate could end up being a solo Traitors Winner if she's still around. I didn't have Trishelle being a strategic mastermind on my list either - but she was an excellent casting decision. Thoughts on Parvati as a Traitor: I've watched Parvati since 2006 and her first season of Survivor. I've watched her dominate in Micronesia and Heroes v Villians as a Survivor Series is a must-watch. I did however think she was quite muted this season. She wasn't really the strategic mastermind when she, Dan, and Phaedra were Traitors. However, I think she was playing to her position and did very well. Parvati is known as the Black Widow. Strategic mastermind. One of the best to ever play Survivor. She would absolutely for me place in my Top 100 RTV Characters of all times. I wish she showed a bit more of what I saw in Survivor - I just felt that we only got 80% of what I expected, but I wasn't disappointed. Edited February 16, 20241 yr by Aaron.
March 1, 20241 yr Author No doubt the longer this went on the more predictable it became. Intense start to the season, okay mid-season but starting to lose steam at the end, however, the ending should be exciting because I have NO idea what’s going to happen for the Finale. I’m openly rooting for Sandra to win and if she continues to clock Kate, it could happen! A final 3 maybe of Kate, Sandra and CT with the Sandra/CT win, I’d be very happy.
June 5, 20241 yr Author @1798331662331449352 Danielle and Britney *.* Carolyn and Chanel as well yesss.
June 6, 20241 yr That is incredible omg. At this rate they won't have any big names left to cast by season 5
June 6, 20241 yr Author I have to say I wasn’t as impressed with this cast as I was with Season 2, but some gems here for sure. Danielle Reyes. Yes. Absolutely. Putting Britney with her was the cherry on top. I’m surprised there aren’t more Big Brother players. Apparently Derrick was cut last minute. The Survivors: CAROLYN YES. I have Rob fatigue however and Jeremy and Tony together feels like overkill. Housewives: Chanel Ayan I adore and she will kill this. Dorinda, ugh. I’m not a Dorinda fan, she’s a mess. I feel there were better options than Robyn and Dolores as well. Apparently Candiace and Monique (RHOP) were both asked, but Candiace said no (pregnant) so they decided not to move forward with JUST Monique. Ciera was also not the right choice from Summer House. Bob The Drag Queen YES - but only ONE drag queen? I heard Sasha Colby was asked but had a few conflicts. I’m so over Scandoval, why is Tom here?! The rest I’m just MEH on. My guesses for the Traitors: Danielle Reyes Tony or Boston Rob (probably Tony) Bob The Drag Queen The Efron Brother
June 6, 20241 yr I’d never thought I’d see this much DWTS crossover :o Chrishell, Gabby, Nikki
June 17, 20241 yr I am late to the party but I have just seen S2 on BBC iPlayer and I was SHOOK by the final episode. I have to say, it was refreshing to see faithfuls win… although I can’t recall whether it was a faithful win for the USA season 1 or the Oz one…
July 16, 2024Jul 16 I finally finished season 2 on iPlayer. Obviously nothing was going to be able to top Diane's funeral, but I think Ekin-Su is as good as this season could've got, just how there was no logic to Parvati's choice. They could do with shields/immunity idols that can be used to protect from banishment, imagine Parvati whipping one out at the roundtable when the votes were against her. This sagged for me a bit towards the end, I don't think it was necessary to bring Kate back, and it was kinda ruined by the Bravo people all sticking together until there wasn't much choice. Or maybe they were just that dumb. I think that's why for me, the civilian version is better, as you don't have these pre-existing relationships that have some influence (outside of twists like Ross and Diane). The final episode, and MJ's face as the flame turned red!!! I felt so bad for her, especially as Trishell originally voted to banish again because she suspected CT?! MJ was rubbish at the game but she didn't deserve that. Season 3 cast - excited for Britney and Chrishell! I have to say, it was refreshing to see faithfuls win… although I can’t recall whether it was a faithful win for the USA season 1 or the Oz one… They were both traitor victories (Cirie and Alex)
August 19, 2024Aug 19 I'm just on the penultimate episode of Series 2 - such a good series! Dan made his play way way too late. He was basically playing a long Big Brother game; this changes by the day and he made his play against Phaedra way too late. He should've just thrown Parvity under the bus instead and probably would've bought him more time. Talking of which; Parvity played so hard! and it was a shame to see her go, but really it was her time and there was no where else left for her to go. Peter was just so on everything - I'm sort of glad when he went; mainly as I loved Phaedra, but he also played hard. I've just finished episode 10 and the Queen has now been banished! she was so great throughout and I actually liked the fact she didn't throw another Traitor under the bus. She basically knew she had nowhere to go and after fighting for the last 2-3 roundtables, basically had nowhere left to go. Phaedra was amazing though! In fact this series has been dominated by strong women and its funny to see CT being left as the only man in the game. Kate is a mess; but she is more fun this time around. Overall looking forward to the final ep! Edited August 19, 2024Aug 19 by ElectroBoy
August 19, 2024Aug 19 Well that final episode was a journey! Kate was a complete mess - there had to be another traitor when she voted to end the game :D she couldn't have been more obvious. Feel for MJ... but not displeased with the outcome - plus the final firepit session was brilliant. I sort of wrote Trishelle off during the first couple of episodes due to her basically gunning at people for no reason. But she had quite a number of the Traitors sussed by the end and deserved the win. US Series 2 was a great series overall - step up from the first series! Roll on Series 3!
November 22, 2024Nov 22 Author @1860051587441524914 I cannot wait. The cast photos alone are all 10/10.
November 22, 2024Nov 22 Season 2 didn't go onto iPlayer until June this year, 3 months after it finished airing in the US so I assume it'll be the same unless this time around they really capitalise on the hype and have it available for the UK series finishing.
November 23, 2024Nov 23 Ooof I hope so! Hopefully S2 rated really well on BBC so they'll be rushing to put S3 on there. :kink:
