The second semi-final sees world champions France take on Morocco who created history by becoming the first African team to reach a semi-final at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.

How do you see this one going?

France 1 Morocco 0

Just feel this is where Morocco's dream ends. :(

Rooting for Morocco (again), but I think France know how to counter their plays.

France have to do something which no team has managed to yet, score against Morocco (exc. OGs) and tbf I think they're the only team who can do it.

BUT their defence is still awful so don't be surprised to see Morocco score either.

I've had a few (random) interesting thoughts over the weekend. If we look at games outside of this World Cup, we know that Morocco are the rank outsiders in this game. However, if you didn't know anything about football and based your judgements purely on the World Cup, is that the case? They topped their group with 7 points, and then beat Spain, who only scored 4 points in their group, and then beat Portugal, who only scored 6. Going by that logic, France only scored 6 points in their group stage, so maybe Morocco are in a better position? And if we take that argument further, they scored more points in the groups than both Argentina and Croatia as well... :magic:
This is the most entertaining match I have seen, Morocco really played well and they had many chances and played with passion and fighting for a goal, France were too good for them. Got to give credit for Morocco to get this far in a big major competition, they should be proud of themselves.

Since 1990 there had only been one World Cup semi final decided by more than a one goal margin inside 90 minutes, across 8 different World Cups. But we've just seen two in two nights.
