The classic christmas heartbreak song from The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl begins the top 3, after just missing out on it last year! This song is eternal, I don't think i'll ever get bored of it. I think thats partly due to my Irish heritage :lol: shame it seems to be stalling officially, but it is the highest charting traiditonal 'christmas' song in the chart!

December 21, 20222 yr Author Conor's Christmas Chart: Number 2 #2 right where you left me - Taylor Swift Ur_wAcYDnuA Chart Run: 28-31-34-33-x45-14-2... So my chart didn't exist when evermore originally came out. However last year it charted for the 1 year anniversary, and same this year. I also suffer with seasonal depression, and this past week, this song as well as Phoebe Bridgers' So Much Wine have been my go to songs, explaining why they make up the top 2! The song is also sadly relatable for me, so looking back on the past year has been tough and this song though being sad has helped me a lot. Thank you Taylor for this gorgeous but haultingly devestating song!

So, unexpectedly Phoebe Bridgers vaults 40 spots to claim this years christmas #1 with the heartbreakingly beautiful So Much Wine. It is classed as a 'christmas song' as its on her Christmas EP, but I think its one of those that can be listened to even outside christmas. It is a cover, but Phoebe makes it original, her own.
