From what I see on Wikipedia, LadBaby's only singles are the Sausage Roll charity singles for Christmas #1, all of which have succeeded at doing so.

I'm wondering what other artists have only released #1 singles

I have 2 artists that I think of off the top of my head:

Spice Girls almost did this with 9/11 of their singles going #1, Stop reached #2, and Headlines at #11

3 of a Kind went 1/1 with their only single and song, Babycakes, debuting at #1

Let me know if you think you know others!

There are several one hit wonders who have gone to #1 with their only song to chart.

If you restrict the criteria to having to have had more than one charting song, then there's Robson & Jerome off the top of my head, 3/3 strike rate.

It'll be rare unless they are one-hit wonders.

Bob The Builder had "Can We Fix It?" and "Mambo No.5" which both scored #1 but he missed out with his 3rd single 7 years later.

I don't think you can include one-hit wonders unless they've actually only released one single. There will be plenty of one-hit wonders who have failed to chart with subsequent singles so you can't really count those.

Yes, but most of them released other songs which either failed to chart or charted at like #156. So maybe the list wouldn't be as long as we think. It must be pretty rare for someone to get a #1 hit and then just not release anymore music.

I think groups made just for a charity single might make up a lot of the list.

Well you’ve got charity features like Tom Moore, novelties like Mr Blobby and all the incarnations of X Factor Finalists and Band Aid groups. But there can’t be many with more than 1 chart topper; I haven’t thought of any other than Robson & Jerome and LadBaby yet.

Maybe some of the singers in We don't talk abut Bruno?

C.Gaitán, M.Castillo, Adassa, R.Feliz, sure those were in none of the others

Blobby has a follow-up single - Christmas In Blobbyland - which made number 36 two years after his chart topper!

Besides one hit wonders, only previous artists I can think of with 100% strike rate are Robson & Jerome and Bob The Builder :-)

How many did Westlife have before getting beat by Bob the Builder?

Their first 7 got to #1 (14 altogether) but many fell short after that of course.

Surprised no artists from the very early chart era did this feat when it was much smaller - a Top 12 to begin with.

The 50s crooners tended to be very prolific and have lots of hits at the same time, so would have been very difficult to get them all to #1.

First person who came to my mind was Gotye and... https://www.officialcharts.com/artist/7240/gotye/!

Gotye definitely did have other songs. And one he released as a single afterwards. I remember listening to it and I remember it was in the top 1000 on iTunes for a while and I think charted on alternative charts in the US. Kimbra also had other songs.

4/4 LadBaby

3/3 Robson & Jerome

2/2 Baddiel & Skinner (I’m counting Three Lions ‘98 as a separate song, ok!)

2/2 Bob the Builder

2/2 Military Wives Choir

I really think that’s it for artists with a multiple 100% record.

Does Gareth Malone count? He had a 3rd single for the Invictus Games which didn’t chart but he had 2 x #1.
