Someone on Twitter reminded everyone that "Stomp" was released as a single this day, 20 Years ago. I'm so old!

That makes me feel very old, stomp is great though, ive always loved it.

Their first album is my least favourite. I like buzz and tears on the dance floor. Not bought the new album yet.

The first album is my favourite but I don’t think it’s their best by any means. Tears on the dance floor is their best one possibly What the future holds could claim that title it’s very strong.

For me they have never made a bad album if we take out the christmas album, their debut is still probably my fave but all their studio albums have songs outside the singles that I really enjoy.

The songs just aren't great choices and it's not Steps like at all! You'd expect a Steps Christmas album to be FUN, upbeat, happy this is quite depressing, boring and just not them.

 

Something like Girls Aloud's Christmas CD would have been amazing from Steps! :wub:

They didn't really it's very random there are songs like "A house is not a home" by Dionna Warwick and other random tunes it's not very Christmassy. I also didn't like the single for that album (which was also the title track) it was too corny for me.

Im actually tempted to check it out now lol but made that mistake with Jessie Js Xmas song

When Steps done the Living Tv documentary a few years back when they started to get the reform in place i remember them saying oh imagine if Gary Barlow would write us a song for a comeback, its fitting they have now done the crooner sessions with him although i dont think Gary could write the type of song to suit Steps but you never know,
