The song is *fine* on it's own merit but it's placed before Croatia in the running order which is not good.

Someone on Twitter pointed out since 2004 Ireland have never Q from a position earlier than #8 in the running order. It really does not help that UK and Australia cannot vote for them. Last year the UK gave Brooke 12 televote points.

One of their songwriters is Swedish but that isn't going to help them either.

It's just an awfully derivative song. The lyrics are even worse than Georgia's.
The song is alright but it's a tad too inoffensive and probably not for the demographic too.
Nobody votes for their 9th favourite from the semi. Without the UK voting, I can honestly envisage a situation where this gets zero points.
It’s pretty hard to get zero points in a semi final of 15 when everyone needs to score 10 of the other 14 countries! I guess there being no jury makes it more possible though. I can see it coming last for sure.

As well as sounding like a leftover from The Greatest Showman soundtrack, the boys have really struggled to sing it live in any of the performances I've seen.

I was so hyped last year for Brooke to qualify so at least this year I'm fully expecting disappointment this time around.

Ya im in no way expecting them to qualify, i like the song myself but it doesnt seem to have gone down well anywhere, last year i was hoping beyond hope Brooke would go through and after the performance she delivered in the semi i thought she would do it.

Wild Youth fired their stage manager for being transphobic (and as ever, not just casual transphobia, the brain worm obsession kind where you comment on every single news story that involves a trans woman to misgender them) a couple of days ago and now they got mentioned by the Grand Wizard Transphobe herself so we got... that going on.

I'm really starting to feel for them as one of the unlikeliest Eurovision contestants to attract controversy.

I liked this initially, then the music video gave me the ick, and now I'm back on board knowing that JK hates them :D
I won't mind if this qualifies to show a middle finger to transphobes
Based on the song especially the chorus id be happy to see it qualify but it really does look like it would take a miracle for it to happen with how things look.

Really rooting for Wild Youth & Ireland in the semis tonight - get that shock qualification
I'd love it to hapoen but I'd fall off the couch with shock if it happens.

It’s really grown on me and they’ve had so much hate for at worst an MOR song - manifesting they get through!

I am too but i kinda knew it would happen, last year i really thought Brooke would go through so i had myself well prepped this year. For me i honestly thought it was far better than Portugal and Moldova, but miles better than Croatia which i thought was terrible.
I've only heard this via the Semi Final 1 performance and I actually liked the song - but vocally I thought he sounded very off, unfortunately. I'll check out the studio version!
