Posted January 12, 20232 yr With the announcement of many concerts for the Sugababes in 2023 and the newly released album The Lost Tapes it got me thinking. Will we see a change to their 2022 concert set list? Will songs from The Lost Tapes start to get performances? We have a new album now, with 16 new songs (well Flatline, Today and Love Me Hard were part of the 2022 set list). What would your ideal set list be? For reference here is the set list from 2022. I copied it from Wikipedia. "Push the Button" "Red Dress" "Hole in the Head" "Too Lost in You" "Flatline" "2 Hearts" "Today" "Ugly" "Love Me Hard" "Stronger" "Same Old Story" (Interlude) "Overload" "Garage Medley" "Flowers" (Sweet Female Attitude cover) "Round Round" "Freak Like Me" "About You Now" (Mods if you feel this is better suited to the album or gigs threads please feel free to move it. :) )

January 12, 20232 yr Yeah there’s a less than zero chance of anything from the era that shall not be mentioned. There’s no way any of the three of them would agree to do that

January 14, 20232 yr Ugly is nice but I don’t have an urge to see it live. For me, it’s a bit of a straight-forward, mid-tempo ballad. And my ballad needs would be more than met by Too Lost In You, Stronger and Love Me Hard (which bring all the drama and style). Just my opinion though. Glad Ugly has her fans!
January 14, 20232 yr I think they did a great job with the hits on the setlist last year, I'd keep all of the ones they performed and maybe add Run for Cover and In the Middle? There's room for a few more songs to be thrown in so I'd love to hear a few more from The Lost Tapes, perhaps Boys and Summer of '99 would go down well even with those who don't know the songs. 2 Hearts was a great moment but I probably wouldn't include that one at the O2 show which is bound to have a higher proportion of casual fans, it was definitely a toilet break moment even at the tour last year sadly. The BRITs Week intimate show has greater potential for more Lost Tapes songs I think, so I hope they do quite a few of those songs as I'd imagine it's more likely to be diehard fans at that one!
May 10, 20232 yr Just to name a few - In the middle Shape Run for cover (mnek cover) Summer of 69 Metal Heart Drum No can do Denial Never gonna dance again (come on girls) Ace Reject (They know how much the fans want this but did Two Hearts instead)
