We've had a replacement from the sender of Huff + Puff so have updated the list. Does mean we lose the only Kenyan entry though and have yet another South African one :kink: (though I'm keeping the animal theme with your landmark x)

Well I've had a flick through everything and it's a varied bunch of styles, quite a few that grabbed me on first listen so initial impressions are good *.*

I did try and search Chinese EDM, unfortunately it's all terrible, at least the stuff I managed to unearth.

Oh I was thinking South Africa was going to be the way over-represented country - for some reason I wasn't even considering Asia but now I see it it's suddenly kind of obvious that it's Japan.

 

Unless that Yellow Magic Orchestra was just entered right at the end of the confirmation period as an intentional tribute, that's kind of eek timing as Yukihiro Takahashi from the group just passed away a couple of days ago. </3

 

There are a few other artist names I recognise here, mostly from other song contests - intrigue for the Hoàng Thùy Linh, Laolu (et al.) and Sun-EL Musician tracks based on previous stuff I've heard from them. No songs that I've already heard as far as I'm aware. My original entry was the non-remixed version of that Nihiloxica song, so whoever snapped up that remix you'd best sleep with one eye open x (seriously though I guess at least it's still partly a discovery now but I'm going to be disappointed if it's a big downgrade from the quality of the original as I had been quite excited to share that! I'm not quite as invested in my replacement as it was rather rushed but still intrigued to see the reaction x)

 

Loving the presentation here, we stan the nature and wildlife shots in particular :heart: looking forward to hearing everyone's songs! And glad we have hit our usual 20 entries, I had wondered if this might be a tough theme for some people but seems like most of us managed.
