Obviously a beautiful version of the song too. Very emotional and heart tugging and a good closer too. Far better than the regular song that'd normally close out the album (Sunchild).

No Worries guys. I'll post a rank in a mo but already voted earlier, main version of 'Heaven' as best and 'Sunlight' remix the worst!

Here is how I have ranked the songs following the listenthrough;

I would say many of these tracks are absolutely solid dance songs. Inspired from the likes of Sash!, Dario G, Robert Miles, DJ Quicksilver and others from the 90’s. I made some fab re-discoveries today and I especially enjoyed Paradise of Love which I instantly fell in love with and added to my BJSC potentials list! :lol:

 

This was definitely one of the better dance albums from the early 2000’s so thanks so much Rob for selecting it as your album this week!

I only didn't majorly care for about.. 4 songs here lol (one being a remix). A very strong dance album indeed and a big surprise as I thought I'd have less I wouldn't like quite as much!

The top 8 are all fantastic imo, quite hard to seperate between 4-8 really and Vive is great as well. The rest are less keen, specifically the last two which weren't doing it for me.

Just regarding the 3 songs I know: I think Heaven is one of the most beautiful dance covers ever done, and The Boys of Summer is decent too. Sunlight is a lovely song as well - would probably rank that between the other two.

Just edited the candlelight post as I put both of the remixes at 12. lol and meant to be 13 for Heaven :lol:

Sunlight was quite nice, wasn't what I was expecting after the first 5-10 secs or so.

Boys of Summer is good, not on the same level as Heaven but I still like it.

California Dreaming, I really liked this one. Shame it wasn't a single back around 2002-3.
