I feel like I was the only one who didn’t like Logic Lost? With that winning and me flopping I think this is the most out of touch I’ve been with Club Bizarre… :(

I wasn't a fan of Logic Lost either and I'm flopping even more :(

Lovely stuff from Addy, have generally enjoyed what I've heard before from Sun-EL Musician and this was another good one.

Meanwhile Kath had narrowly my favourite of the South African entries  thank you for the 5 points also, officially safe from a bottom 5 finish now woo *.*

Logic Lost to hold onto the win now please! (Especially as I think that'd be uhsting's first song contest win?)

I can see entirely why I’m last now

Suffice to say I enjoyed one of the top 4 substantially more than any of the others

Oh please don’t ruin it for uhsting!

I don’t see how I can win as I’d be joint with uhsting if so, but let’s see what happens.

Coming for a tie with dandy* 12ing YMO and snubbing the top 2? x

I was gonna troll uhsting by dragging this out, but he's not here so I guess I'll just reveal :kink:

Karyendasoul feat. Ami Faku – Umthandazo - dandy*

Hi Chez! Here are my votes for this edition of Cub Bizarre. A truly inspired theme I think and one that definitely brought a real mixture of songs to the contest, really enjoyed it and even the ones that were less to my taste were still interesting to have included. However, with no further ado, here are the ones that made my votes:

12 | Aero Manyelo feat. Thee Suka - Kunitamale

10 | Logic Lost - Blunt Force Trauma

08 | Mr. Raoul K - Sene Kela (feat. Sona Diabaté) [Mr. Raoul K & Laolu Version]

07 | Obeidmusic & Pamela Antoun - 3ala bali

06 | Aiobahn x Phritz feat. Yaginuma Kana - Grayscale

05 | Nihiloxica - Black Kaveera (pq & Ekhe's Recycle)

04 | Ganzi Mdudu - Chafu Pozi

03 | Yellow Magic Orchestra - Rydeen

02 | DNGDNGDNG - Hiperbórea

01 | Funk Tribu - See You

Thanks for hosting and good luck to the above!

D*

It was dandy* who forgot about that past UP entry but he was kind enough to provide a back up (even if that did sacrifice the Maasai Mara from my OP </3) with this wonderfully dreamy entry that has deservedly done very well.

His votes mean it's a pretty convincing win in the end with the big points coming in just when they were most needed (even order of receipt it was like this as it received two 12s right at the end!) Congratulations to uhsting :yahoo:

Full scoreboard coming soon (with a heartbreaking tiebreak in this case x)

That was a great reveal as there was so much change at the top. A great winner and thank you Chez for hosting.

I'm happy with another Top 10 under my belt ^_^

Not sure if anyone predicted me considering I went with the DDR trend again  I discovered TORIENA through DDR actually! With something more tame than what I did end up sending :P

The track is fun for a bit of unbridled chaos and I wish I was there for the listenthrough to see the reactions bc I’m pretty sure everyone but maybe Iz absolutely hated it. I think I’ve learned my lesson from this though: experimentation is out and conformity is in 😔 thanks to everyone who voted her

Huge congratulations to uhsting on his first Club Bizarre win! Much overdue! :cheer:

I'd say Logic Lost is VERY experimental???

I'm quite relieved that uhsting actually did win now after everyone was rooting for him :kink: and it was my favourite song in the contest so yay, congrats

3rd is a brilliant result for Yellow Magic Orchestra! I'm happy that a retro pick paid off. Edit: oh maybe 4th?

Thank you for a great hosting job, Chez! I know uhsting will be fab hands to pass that baton to as well if he so wishes to host.

Another reason why I'm happy I was being strung along from all corners is because I already have another song contest to host (#firstworldproblems) - so keep your eyes peeled for a brand new edition of The Best Song Contest in the World... Ever! coming to a pre-2000s forum near you soon.

Congratulations to uhsting - a brilliant winner!

Also lol at me confirming a track that had been sent to UP before… in an edition that I hosted!!!!

Karyendasoul was 11th for me but all the SA entries were lovely, glad that did well too! Thanks Dandy for the last few points, was definitely not expecting a top 15 finish so that's a great surprise (and fingers crossed I can beat Laur on that tiebreak )

My 12 pointer winning :cheeseblock: we absolutely love to see it. TerraJadaphonia bloc not voting for each other as much as usual but at least we all agreed on the 12. Congrats uhsting! (actually I now see this isn't your first song contest win oops, forgot you won a PFSC too, but congrats on a first Club Bizarre win anyway x Meanwhile I continue to sit here with my 100% participation but never finishing higher than 4th :kink:)

And indeed finishing with the top 6 all being songs I had in my top 7 so very little to complain about! Voted for 8 of the top 10 in all. Mr Raoul K deserved better, DNGDNGDNG too but that one isn't too much of a surprise.

Thanks for hosting Chez, was a great theme choice and certainly producing some memorable entries!

Congrats uhsting…well deserved win!!!

Thanks to everyone who voted for Sun-El Musician…ended up finishing right exactly where I was hoping mid-top 10 finish :cheer:…I believe this is my 6th Top 10 in a row now in this contest :cheer:

And Chez, you did amazing job picking the theme, presentation and tonight with revealing of results.

Yes thank you to the ever reliable Chez Wombat for hosting!

What would an uhsting hosted Club Bizarre be like? I guess we will all find out in April! ;)

Congatulations to uhsting on winning this contest. I put your song 3rd in my vote so it's a great winner.

I'm happy with 4th place (or 3rd) for Nihiloxica. Thanks to everyone who voted for them.

Fantastic hosting as always, Chez.

Quite a gap between those 10!

A painful gap between 3rd and 4th there but I don't know how else to break the tie, sorry Jade </3

Nihiloxica and Funku Tribe did seem to come from nowhere at the end there, had I done it in order of receipt, they were leading for most of it, along with Logic Lost but it had a stellar last day and became impossible to catch from the penultimate vote! (Similar to Monolithic, they fell very low after starting well and shot back up on the last day)

thanks for a great hosting effort Chez and congrats uhsting on a first win!

the genre isn't to my taste whatsoever but it's quite impressive one of these IDM songs managed to win one of these eventually anyhow ~

vol.23 is due for April so let us know if you'd be willing and able to host it when you next get a moment ^_^
