I didn’t say it was made up…

 

It’s just not the same as actually going viral on TikTok as it had only been used in 20k videos. For comparison that new Mae Stephens song (which isn’t even Top 40) has over 200k videos.

 

Boy’s a liar (the original) has 771k, and the remix has 485k.

I’m aware…

 

It (having “100 million views”) is just not the same as actually going viral on TikTok as it had only been used in 20k videos. For comparison that new Mae Stephens song (which isn’t even Top 40) has over 200k videos.

 

So there was no real evidence for it to absolutely blow up right out of the gate, but it is certainly performing decently.

The Amazon charts are a bit glitchy. Only 1 version of "Never Gonna Not Dace Again" appearing on the non-prime chart but 3 on the prime chart. Plus a number of songs appearing on the prime chart but not showing on the non-prime chart - where they should technically be higher on (at least based on the general trend of all the tracks). Happy to see the album doing a decent showing on streaming (more than I thought it would). Hopefully we'll see big climbs on spotify for "Trustfall"/"Never Gonna Not Dance Again" as well as "When I Get There" debuting in the top 200. Anything else in the top 200 would be a bonus. "When I Get Here" should be locked to debut on in the top 100 I would think with how it's doing based on Amazon/Apple Music and iTunes.

as is usually the case it'll just by Spotify's regular old glitching

I imagine Niall Horan will be comfortably top 40 (even if he's only #59 on Apple) but I don't see him contending for #1
