Posted February 8, 20232 yr Claire did a Q&A session on her Instagram and revealed: She will be doing solo shows this summer (seemingly shows that are unrelated to her own tour) She hopes to tour She's working on an album with an "uplifting, get on the dance floor" vibe to it :o
February 8, 20232 yr I quite enjoyed her debut, but then again I like that style of music from Claire. A bit more upbeat stuff would be warmly welcomed though.

February 8, 20232 yr Great for Claire as I didn't expect another solo album, I thought doing the solo album was a get it out of her system release in that it was something she always wanted to do but she obviously enjoyed doing her solo thing. I would have also loved a Faye solo album but it's good we are getting something while steps are on a break. I'd like a more upbeat album from Claire this time around though. February 8, 20232 yr When I first read the thread I was like noooo, I could really do without another. Then I read the description and I'm like "actually, I'm on board with this". As long as it doesn't have cheap 7th Heaven-esque production throughout.
February 8, 20232 yr I'm kinda surprised from a sales point of view of her first album as its probably only sold about 10 or 15k. She obviously generated money through performing etc to make it worthwhile.

February 9, 20232 yr Maybe I'm naive but I fully believe they will reform again early next year. They made no secret they were taking a break.

February 9, 20232 yr Patiently waiting for some of you to come around to realising that Claire’s album is good! It's not that I think it's not good I think it was very samey and too many ballads, it needed a better mixture of a few more upbeat songs.
February 9, 20232 yr I haven't actually listened to the album, my problem is that I just don't really like Claire's voice on it's own. Mixed with others it is quite nice (and very powerful) but on it's own it's a bit grating!

February 10, 20232 yr I do like her voice but i dont like when she sometimes over sings. It will be interesting on a more upbeat album to see if her voice will be dubbed more than it would be on the slower songs.
