Now I blame myself for non-voting. It could be cool to ruin his unfunny idea.

At least Twiggy (# 2 in my possible list) and maybe Aneka would have received points from me.

I love the single version of Pearl's Dream by Bat For Lashes, she definitely has some great material. Another one I just forgot all about but should have had a place in my list really.

Lindsay D *.* That’s the best Chartjack inclusion yet.

Surprised to see Liz McClarnon in here. I didn’t rate her single but would vote for Atomic Kitten in a female group rank.

Pixie and Jorja were in the almost category on my list! Quite big fans of both of them I think with another studio album under her belt I’d definitely potentially chose Jorja in a future poll like this.

Also hoping to get some more material from Pixie next year will mark a whole decade since her last full length album. Her last album was actually really good as well from what I recall.

Pixie Lott really did burst onto the scene in 2009. Id have her a little lower or missing if I re-did my lost now though. Still had some great songs.

She was pretty big here in the UK in 2009 getting two #1s back to back and her first album I think went 3X Platinum.

I often wonder how things could have been with album two if she released it outside of Q4 but it kinda fell apart after All About Tonight. Her third studio album is actually pretty good but the campaign felt pretty dead on arrival possibly because of the gap. I wonder if we will ever actually get another full length album from her although she is a Voice UK kids judge now and she does do a lot of gigs.

I guess she kinda had a very typical British female run in many ways though it’s quite common for British females to get a successful debut and then slowly (or quickly) fizzle from there.

^sadly that's how 80% of UK females do, one huge debut era, second era barely does anything, third era doesn't even happen

All the female singers I loved as a kid lasted just 1 album in the spotlight (Sam Brown, Beverly Craven, Dina Carroll, Mica Pars, Tanita Tikaram etc)

Double helpings tomorrow to help us get to the 30 mark on Thursday!

Yay! Guessing that’ll be one of my big scorers out soon.

Thanks, I remember following it from afar (well Australia .

I purchased the deluxe version Turn It Up Louder, Coming Home felt like the hit that got away for me.

Yikes why didn't I vote for FKA Twigs? Guess because I didn't click that she had a top 40 hit but her 'Magdalene' album is one of the best albums of all time.

I really loved 'You Broke Me First' - one of those forever associated with pandemic tracks, dark and vengeful. Can't believe how young Tate was then.

BIGGEST HIT: STARTING TOGETHER (#2, 1986)

Diana Vickers *_* I remember loving "Once" and her debut album. A shame her career nosedived with the second album.

I've been really getting into Janelle Monae more the last year or so. It's criminal that her only Top 40 hit is "We Are Young". "Make Me Feel" should've been a massive hit. :snif:

I remember the "Foundations" music video being played all the time back when I used to watch music videos in the morning before going to school. Shame the curse of the second album got Kate as well.

oh love Kate Nash, really should have voted for her damit I forgot! Her debut album is amazing, Foundations is a classic but she had so many great songs in there like Nicest Thing, Birds etc Album 2 was a mess though...

I thought Su Pollard would be chartjack's 30! Now I'm interested to see what it is (and if he's got 30/30) *___

Diana Vickers probably would've been in a list of a similar nature had I done this a decade ago, I did really stan her album at the time.
