Today marks 5 years since 'Stop Me From Falling' - the second single from 'Golden' - was released. The song continues the country-pop sound established with 'Dancing' and was given a Latin twist when it was remixed to feature Cuban reggaeton duo Gente de Zona. In the UK, it became Kylie's 56th Top 75 hit when it peaked at #52.

The best song from the era! I really love the GDZ remix too!

So summery and vibey! I love it!

I really loved this when it was first released and it still holds up now. I agree with you Jonjo that the summery, hand-clapping feel to it is really infectious and the Gente de Zona elevates the track further.

One of my favourite videos of Kylie's from recent times too.

Great song! I think I even return most to the Gente version now, it just works and I think the video really sold it to me.

Her last really great video, although 'A Second to Midnight' had essence of the Kylie I know and love in it too.

Yeah that’s true, although surprisingly I don’t feel like I’ve been missing out. I don’t know whether I’ve just subconsciously accepted we’re likely to only receive low budget videos from now on or whether that visual appetite is satisfied from Kylie’s live performance (which I think have really taken things up a notch in recent years).

I actually preferred this to dancing. Her voice is great and it’s a great little tune!

To be fair, we've only really had the Disco era since then and the videos for that was clearly a bit handicapped by the pandemic (especially Say Something and Magic; and as we know, the videos at the start of the campaign tend to get the most money put into them normally).

Love it.

Should have been pushed first off album with the GDZ pushed before album release.

Great visual video.

Wasted opportunity to be honest, thought it did give me confidence the album would be solid 👌

As much as I like it I still prefer Dancing and think dancing was the right choice as lead single.

Yeah that's true, but then again 'Dancing' or the solo 'Stop Me From Falling' video were pretty simple videos too.

It's understandable that the budget for her videos are not what they once were, for me the videos don't bother me as I don't hugely invest in them for years now.
